Had my Breville for many years and always loved it. Lots of use -couple times a day. Lid finally wasn’t popping up after pressing button so decided to get another . Amazon popped up and said I had purchased it in 2015 . 10 years of great service .

Beautifully designed sturdy teakettle with automatic shut off. A little more expensive than other brands, but imo totally worth it. I love Breville appliances.

Product is fine (this was second buy after 10 years), but the Amazon listing incorrectly says that it has a "10-year warranty." In fact, it is a one-year limited warranty that displays correctly if one clicks to view the pdf.

Most useful see throgh electric water heater. Ability to see the water boiling is a great help.

I have purchased this item twice and both times it quit working in less than 12 months. The second time, I tried to talk with Breville customer service and it was a horrible experience. In multiple online sources, the published Breville customer service phone number is missing a digit so it is not a valid number. After finding a real phone number, I called more than a dozen times but they do not answer. I finally scheduled a time for them to call me, and when they called, they put me on hold for 25 minutes. After I spoke with them, they agreed to replace the unit and sent me an email that stated "...your order has been placed...allow 7 to 10 business days for your order to be shipped." I waited 3 weeks and contacted them because I did not receive the replacement. After being placed on hold, I was told that their agent made a mistake and they would not replace the unit until I returned the old one. Because they had not told me that weeks earlier, I had tossed the old unit. As a result, they would not send me a replacement. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I had to make an appointment for later in the week. I made the appointment and they did not call. This is the worst customer service ever!!!! I have liked Breville products and have their microwave oven, toaster, and food processor but I will never buy a Breville product again.

This is a fantastic tea pot. Boils quickly and is made of good quality. Comes with a warranty too. BUT, if you have hard water, like I do, from my well, you will end up cleaning the white calcification stain from the bottom constantly. I use windex with vinegar. Just squirt, wipe and rinse out the pot. But you may find this tedious. I sometimes do.

I got this Breville water kettle to replace one I loved, but it was time to move on to a new style and brand. Breville is that new brand for me.Funny story: I was in Home Goods and saw this for a really good price. I didn't get it but wanted to, and I had a perfectly functional one with no space to store an extra. Then, I saw this on Prime Day for an even better price and I said "screw it, I'll buy this and store it until the current one breaks." No sooner did I think that that my current one stopped working. Our household tried to fix it and it was dead. But it wasn't a bother because now I had this new Breville water kettle timed just right to replace it.The kettle holds up to seven cups of water. There are lines printed on the glass to help you measure, and a significant portion is empty for all the boiling bubbliness to happen. You flick it on and a white light lights up until it's done. You then pour your water out as needed. When you refill, there is a nicely engineered top that slowly and satisfyingly opens up when you press the open button.Overall, it works fast and it looks beautiful. My only "complaint" is I wish different finishes were offered to match my other Breville items. Recommended.
