Does not live up to the hype!
The first picture is straight out of the package. The second picture is after heating in a microwave for 30 seconds. This was never going to be Pizza Hut quality. There is a lack of sauce, so you might want to store canned sauce, or dipping sauce packs, separately. You will taste the flour and salt in this product. This is not something you want to store if you anticipate needing to ration water supplies. The taste is not “Wow! Morale boosting pizza”! The taste is “Wow. We have been reduced to this”.There is also a distinct lingering aftertaste. It is not unpleasant, it is just not appealing. A can of Chef Boyardee would be better than this. There are much better alternatives, and storing the ingredients to make your own pizza would be superior to this. Even if you took the Bridgeford soft breads, opened up a jar of pizza sauce, and added some freeze dried cheese, you would get a better tasting alternative. That said, these could be the right fit for some, but definitely try them before going all in on adding them to your food storage. For the quality, and calories, the price does not justify the splurge. You could get two cans of Red Feather butter for less than this, clocking in at 4,800 calories.

Tasty Pizza
Overall, not bad. There is definitely some spice and flavor in this pizza. It can be eaten right out of the package but does taste better if warmed in the toaster oven to give the crust a bit of a crisp to it. Only complaint is the topping amount varies quite a bit. A couple packages looked like just crust with tomato sauce smeared on it, the other had pepperoni and cheese loaded onto it.

Tasty and filling.
I tried a beef BBQ room temperature, right out of the package. It was good and filling for a light lunch. I did appreciate having some coffee to go with it as it was a little dry. For a quick and convenient 130 calories, I will buy more. I'll be keeping one in my snack bag for Search and Rescue, and when i go hunting.

5 stars from a perspective of survival
I'm glad i bought these. I might buy another. From a perspective of flavor, it is maybe 3 stars. Basically a somewhat bland, kinda chewy hot pocket. Not too good, not too bad.5 stars because if I was stranded somewhere, I could stay alive on these.I ate one, and put the other 2 in the trunk of my car. Fit nicely inside my mini-survival kit (a heavy jacket, an ushunka cap, mittens & hand warmers, and extra socks).

Almost three years old!
This product is shelfstable for three years, so its best by date should’ve been in 2026. Instead, it goes bad in three months. That means this has been sitting on someone’s shelf for almost 3 years. They also don’t accept returns, do not buy.
