I have a very young bonsai I grew from a seed. At 6 months, it was looking pale and kind of yellowy, so I transplanted it, didn't see any change after a few days (to be fair, this might not have been long enough, but I was worried), and got this fertilizer. That was a month before I took this picture. So the old growth shown is the tree at 6 months old, and you can still see how much paler those leaves are, and the new growth all happened within a month. Even just a week after giving it the fertilizer, it shot up to twice its size and doubled the amount of leaves it had. All of its new leaves are a nice, dark green, and it keeps growing more! I followed the directions on the bag, which also says you only need to fertilize once a year, so this will last me a long time. I'm extremely happy with the results and highly recommend this!

I really wish I took a before picture of my bonsai tree. The leaves were almost completely flat against the trunk. They started to droop shortly after we installed a whole house filtration system and a friend warned me it may take some of the nutrients out of the water for your house plants. Sure enough, I noticed the difference. This picture was taken only 5 days after using this fertilizer for the first time. Definitely looking better already!! The leaves are greener and look healthier overall. I didn’t even measure super precisely, it was easy to use - just put the pellets in the base material and I did not need very much at all. Good quality fertilizer. I highly recommend.

I got a juniper bonsai for my birthday so, obviously, I need to feed the thing. These pellets came highly recommended by people on the internet so I took a chance. My bonsai, while small, seems to do well on them. I see growth on it, it looks healthy, it does well overall. I also still have a LOT of product left, since this will supposedly last for a very long time, so I'm happy for that. I bought this stuff back in April and the pics attached is how my bonsai looks right now (the super light green stuff on the bonsai is Kiyonal bonsai pruning paste (also sold here on Amazon), I just pruned it so the paste is there to protect it from disease, infection, dead/dying limbs, whatever). Please ignore the old pieces of trimmed bonsai in the dirt, they're old pieces and I'm lazy lmao. But from the pics, you can see the bonsai is vibrant and doing well. I don't know why other people's bonsais are dying, mine is doing well. It gets lots of sunshine, I make sure it has food pellets, and it gets watered plenty. Plus now I have liquid bandaid for it when I cut it up, so I'd say it's doing well. I recommend the food pellets to anyone needing food for their bonsai.

Got these for my juniper bonsais, easy application and easy use. A good amount is in the bag too considering the fertilizer lasts for a year each application. I will probably update my review after a few months

By the time spring came around last year, my ginseng ficus bonsai was near death. I opted to place her outside to see if mother nature could help bring her back to life. Mother nature did her thing and helped to produce a few new leaves. When I brought her back into the house in late August, I opted to transplant her into a larger pot first and I added this "once a year" food to her soil, did a little braiding and wiring with the shoots and hoped for the best. The first pic is what she looked like at that time. The 2nd pic shows what she looks like now, in March, after spending the winter in the house. I did also give her a space near a grow light and in front of the south facing window. I did educate myself a lot better for all of my plants and made appropriate adjustments so they thrive this year instead of just survive the winter. This food was placed in her soil 1 time and she still pushes out new leaves every time I water. I would definitely recommend this for any bonsai enthusiasts.
