HQY Professional Knives, Premium Stainless Steel 9 Piece Chefs Knife Set in Case

So let's just say that this set is beautifully made and with heaviness to it. I was skeptical because o have had encounters where the product would be lightweight that it doesn't help at all with hacking into thick meat and bones. I wanted this set for my wife and when it arrived, I was impressed with the quality of it. I would recommend this product.

Super happy with this set without having to spend a ton of money. I have a very expensive set at home and needed another set for our camper (seasonal). Didn't want to spend a ton of money and this is the set that was best bang for your buck.Thanks for this.

My 14 year old grandson asked for a nice knife set for his birthday - he is working on a food truck and wanted his own. He was so excited to recieve this set and says they work very nice for him.

My 20 year old landed a job as a chef apprentice at a local 5-star resort and needed a knife set for work. After searching and reading reviews this seemed like the right solution; lots of good comments. The case is well suited to carrying the knives. The steel blades seem to be of decent quality; not the best but certainly not the worst. And the price is hard to beat for this broad a selection of knives.But they are heavier than comparable knives that can be purchased at a kitchen store. The handles are not at all ergonomic; they are flat and unlikely to feel right in most hands. If you only need to use them occasionally they might be fine. But for someone using these 8 hours a day, they are unsuitable. In the end I had to return them and purchase more appropriate knives locally for her work.

This is a full-sized, solid, heavy weight set of knives. I ordered them to have in my travel trailer as they come in a zippered case and thought they were "mini" knives due to the low price. Happily wrong. They are sharp and have nearly replaced the block set in my kitchen. Definitely recommended.

I love my set, but the only thing is one knife is messing? The case was unzipped when I walked up to the door but it was standing up... Is there anyway you can send me the other knife... When I get home I'll take a picture of the case... That's the only thing bad I have to say about that case... The big Blade. I want another on... It's a "7 chopping blade...

You get what you pay for

I got this set of knives to replace all the crappy, old, dull ones in my camping gear. The case is padded and pretty nice, it's a heavy set. The knives didn't disappoint - they're sharp, have a nice weight to them and the handles are comfortable. A sharpening tool is included. I do recommend.
