The product is good and looks classy. But the screws provided are not long enough to reach past the holder and anchor behind the drywall. I had to buy longer screws. Not happy 'bout dat.

This paper towel holder is just what we were looking for in our quest to clear our countertops of clutter. The darker color is a refreshing change from all the lighter oak wood accessories you normally see, and matches our cupboards perfectly. The spring loaded towel bar is easy to manipulate and looks like it will hold up well over the long term. Really looks tidy and unobtrusive below the cupboard where we have it mounted.

Looks as pictured.Only problem is there is no friction - the tube spins too easily around the thinnish dowel. So you can easily get too many towels at once, when one-handing it. I ended up adding friction to the dowel by wrapping it with Johnson & Johnson Coach Self-Adhering Elastic Bandage (great stuff) which I happened to have on hand. I also added some cotton balls in the middle of the dowel and wrapped the tape around those as well, to "fatten" the dowel. Now there is enough friction so that the roll spins in a civilized manner and you only get one paper towel at a time.Fits the extra-large Bounty rolls just fine. The dowel itself feels a bit cheap, but the spring mechanism works and is superior to the plastic holders that don't have a dowel. The large Bounty towels tend to have flimsy cardboard tubes, so that the ends of them are either a bit compressed or frayed. They don't "seat" well in the plastic holders, which rely on protrusions to hold the towel. This holder solves that problem.

Great paper towel dispenser...........this is well made, solid, and spins well.....It looks fantastic and high end.........It cost a little more than some of the others out there, but it is well worth it.............5 stars here.

Mine is mounted under some cupboards. The dowel that runs through the paper towel roll just BARELY stays inside the holder, there's only about 1 millimeter of overlap, so the dowel and paper towel will sometimes fall out on the counter randomly. There's also no resistance which forces you too operate this with 2 hands or else your paper towels will unspool all over your kitchen.

This product is just as it is pictured on the Amazon web site. It's sturdy and attractive. The self-tapping screws included make installation a breeze.
