Daniel Wellington Men's 0106DW St. Mawes Stainless Steel Watch with Brown Band

I am a young professional who is an avid fan of wearing and using a watch for any occasion. I've owned this watch for about one month now.My use:- I use this watch for both casual settings and formal settings.- This watch goes great with a neutral-colored outfit-- Top: grey, blue, or white top (shirt / sweater)-- Bottom: dark blue jeans / jogger sweatpants-- Shoes: these go best with a pair of light brown or cognac-colored shoesPros:- Light: this watch is neither big or bulky.- Stylish: this watch is great for any casual, semi-formal, or formal event. The classic design is very simple and won't detract from your overall outfit.- Comfort: the leather pretty nice and does not seem like it will fade out easily, but only time will tell.Cons:- Cost: this watch may be a bit expensive for some (I bought it at $106). But for the classy look that it provides, I say the price is very reasonable and worth every buck, especially for the classy/expensive look that the watch portrays.

I've received lots of compliments on this watch - and at this price, it's my favorite everyday watch. Sometimes I even wear it with a suit if I'm wearing light brown accents.The wrist band has finally given out 4 years later and it will cost nearly $75 to replace the band alone, so I'm considering a different watch.The watch face is still in pristine condition. If I wasn't such a cheap skate, I'd gladly continue to wear this watch and will likely continue to do so if I can find a reasonable, matching band.I would HIGHLY recommend.

All I can say is this is a nice watch to have. Plain and simple! The leather is, indeed, very genuine and just looks nice. I like the watch dial because it looks cool. It's good for all-around use such as work, casual wear, etc. (excluding sports wear). I use this watch a lot, and I do love it. If you plan on buying this watch, you should buy here on Amazon because they usually have a lot of good sales as opposed to retail stores, they sell for almost $200-$250. Trust me, with a price like this on Amazon, you can't go wrong!

I received my DW watch earlier than expected and I am in love with this watch! It has a nice shine to it and looks classy without hurting your wallet compared to the other watches out there. It's perfect for me because I'm a college kid and I have had many compliments on it already! The only thing that I did not like was my wrist is small and it tends to move towards one side of my wrist. Overall amazing watch!

I bought this recently and It looks amazing and its really thin. I have posted a youtube video of what I received. I have to say its not a authentic watch but a great knock of. I am returning it because this time I want to get the real thing. The price was very low compared to what it is actually sold which set the red flags for me and compared it to the real watch.

So I have been searching for a long time for a new watch. Funny enough I found this on a international airplane catalog. Im glad I tore out the page as I love the watch. It is nice and thin so it fits beneath the sleeves of my dress shirts which is an issue with thicker watches. It seems very high quality and keeps time well. I was a bit torn by the rose gold. After wearing it for a few weeks, I now like it. After two years without a watch because I couldn't find one I like, this is the one.

Fantastic watch and very beautiful! It's a simple watch, none of those fancy stuff with a zillion gadgets. It is also very classy and stylish. The material quality feels durable and very good. Movement is from Japan, leather from Italy but the watch is assembled in China. The one I bought is from a reputable retailer Amazon seller. After receiving the watch, I did my due diligence and research on it to verify that it is authentic, which it is thankfully :)

I am a fan of genuine leather and rose gold. I fell in love when I first saw this watch, though I have to wait a couple of weeks before getting it (I'm training myself not to buy impulsively, and there are plenty of designs to choose from). I wear it with almost any outfit and I can't count how many compliments I've received with it. The leather scratches very easily but it doesn't matter because it makes it more classic and genuine. It's not as common (in Hawaii, at least) unlike the Michael Kors watch that everyone's wearing. It's sophisticated, elegant, and timeless.

Nach all den teilweise schlechten Bewertungen und dem often Lesen, dass hier Fälschungen dargeboten werden, war ich doch etwas skeptisch ob hier tatsächlich eine originale Daniel Wellington Uhr angeboten wird. Meine Zweifel haben sich dann letztendlich doch als unbegründet herausgestellt, die Uhr ist nämlich 100%ig original, mit Seriennummer auf der Rückseite, Garantieschein und in der originalen Lederverpackung verstaut.Zur Uhr:Die Uhr an sich ist toll verarbeitet, mit Schutzfolie abgeklebt und das Lederband sieht hochwertig und stabil aus. Das Tragegefühl ist wahnsinn, sie ist total leicht, drückt nirgends und passt perfekt ans Handgelenk.Das Leder war nur minimal steif, lässt sich gut biegen und liegt geschmeidig und weich an.Zur Farbe:Das Lederband wird hier als "St. Mawes" bezeichnet und sieht im Angebot wie auch auf der Homepage von Daniel Wellington nach einem mittelbraunen, warmen Farbton aus. Dies mag in sehr gedämpften Licht oder im Schatten so sein, im Licht jedoch hat das Leder einen starken Rotton, der zusammen mit dem doch sehr rosanen "Rosegold" der Uhr leider seeeeehr weiblich aussieht. Als vollbärtiger, kräftiger Mann Mitte 30 mag das mit Anzug vielleicht noch edel aussehen, in allen anderen Situationen (vorallem Freizeit) oder für Männer mit etwas dünneren Handgelenken sieht das leider etwas arg nach Damenuhr aus. Ich jedenfalls kam mir etwas lächerlich vor. Ein normales, braunes Lederband mit einem klassischen goldenen Gehäuse sähe meiner Meinung nach um einiges mehr nach einer Uhr für Männer aus (verstehe diesen Rosegold-Trend bei Herrenuhren sowieso nicht):Ich vergebe trozdem 5 Sterne, weil das Produkt ohne den Betracht von persönlichem Geschmack wirklich schön, super verarbeitet und extrem angenehm zu tragen ist. Werde mir deshalb das Modell in silber mit dem dunkelbraunen Bristol-Armband zulegen, das meiner Meinung nach um einiges tragbarer ist.

Very beautiful watch! As I have read on previous reviews, the band does come rather stiff out of the box (which isn't surprising as it is a new product), but all I did was secure the buckle to what was comfortable on my wrist, slide it over my glasses case over night and poof! It is now fitted to my wrist and sits comfortably.

PREMESSA OBBLIGATORIA: ho notato che nello stesso link , e dunque per lo stesso articolo, ci sono periodicamente variazioni di prezzo e del venditore che però Amazon non differenzia nella sezione recensioni . In pratica quelle che sono raggruppate sotto questo articolo non sono tutte per uno stesso orologio spedito dallo stesso venditore e ciò comporta che queste non siano fedeli: basta pensare alle persone che hanno ricevuto l'articolo in una bustina di plastica (che però evidentemente hanno perso più tempo a leggere recensioni altrui o a gardare foto, piuttosto che leggere e ricontrollare la descrizione (che cambia poi col venditore) nella quale c'è scritto se la scatola è compresa o meno . Ci tengo quindi a chiarire che la mia recensione riguarda il venditore AFWach. La spedizione è stata velocissima: il 19 aprile il mio ordine è stato evaso ed il 20 aprile ho ricevuto il pacco in un imballaggio accuratissimo! Articolo arrivato dunque prima del previsto! Il corriere da loro scelto, mi ha mandato un sms di avvenuta spedizione con un codice di tracciabilità. L'orologio era nella sua confezione originale, completa di garanzia timbrata dal negozio, certificato di originalità e "mini cacciavite" per il cambio del cinturino. L' ho acquistato per fare un regalo che è stato ultra apprezzato e devo dire che nonostante in foto non mi convincesse , da vicino è davvero bellissimo e molto fine ed elegante. Ha un'eleganza che però è abbinabile con qualsiasi outfit così come è facilmente abbinabile il marrone del cinturino ne troppo chiaro ne troppo scuro. In conclusione: prima di acquistare non leggete solo le recensioni sottostanti ma soffermatevi soprattutto sulla descrizione del prodotto che va a specificare caratteristiche come ad esempio la confezione in scatola o in bustina di plastica!
