Well made
I have tried several other manufacturers cutouts and have always been let down due to failure. These however are really well made. Works every time with no problems on my supercharged 6.2l

So far so good (cutout open in video)
The media could not be loaded. As the title says, so far so good. I’ve had the cutout installed for about 3-4 days now without any problems. I really like it!I have a 2010 Ram 5.7L with catless headers. This makes it easy to switch from my quiet muffler, to ungodly loud.I’ll update this review if anything happens to the cutoutEdit: after about 3-1/2 to 4 months, the bolts that hold the cutout motor in either backed out or failed. Causing the cutout to act as an exhaust flap…. Sounds like crap! Gonna try to contact QTP and see if I can get a replacement

Wow I’m so happy it was as easy as it says!
You get what you see in the picture but in fact the newer version, well constructed. I just had to add a lil extra wires for the positive and negative wires because I have a lifted ass ram hemi. The single wire that goes to the cut out was long enough. So far have have NONE of those problems I read about only opening it 10 times befor it breaks, I open and close it at almost every light. I would say I’ve opened/closed it ATLEAST 100 times! I’ve only had it a week or so, so I will keep you posted down the line but so far just a little high on price but you get what you pay for you know what I mean. I will now be using qtp as my go to for bolt on’s. Haha my parents will never know I have open Kat’s and my neighbors will thank me. :)

Qtp is my go-to e cutout
What you see in the picture is what you get.Every time I've purchased these in the past, they've come in a branded QTP box. This one, however, came in the shipper's box full of packing paper.Curious to see if it was a defective return, I powered it up before installation. It works just fine.Keep in mind you receive no gaskets or bolts with this product, so have them on hand before starting the install.I did, however, find a burn mark on the wire harness extension and that is why I deducted a star for the review. There's not enough time to get the part before the cruise so I fixed it with solder and heat shrink.

Excellent Cutout!
First off, even though the picture that's provided shows the older version (pre 2011), this is in-fact the newer re-designed cutout. The one on QTP's website. The motor is reinforced and looks very sturdy. I had a DMH cutout before, it broke every month and had to be sent in to the mfr where they'd set on it for several months or just keep it. The DMH's motor would rip out in less than 20 opening/closings and I WASN'T stalling the motor. The QTP is def the way to go. Even the connectors and switch are better. Just place the order, it's well worth the price. Detailed instructions are included. Thanks again guys!

**DO NOT BUY THESE!!!** THEY ONLY WORK WHEN THEY WANT TO!
I wanted electric cutouts for my Mustang, and after shopping around thought I'd shell out the additional cash for the "quality" name-brand QTP's. I installed them properly, wired them properly, everything soldered, shrink wrapped, tied up.They worked well for about one week. Now, they are BEYOND frustrating.First, the screw-type connectors attached to the cutout motors basically fell apart. I had to cut them out and hard wire them instead. Now, these stupid things just work when they want to. I have a good, proper charging system and a brand new wiring harness on the whole car, I've checked over everything and know it's not a wiring issue.Sometimes, they'll both open and close nicely. It's a lot of fun to use them when they work, don't get my wrong. But, MOST OF THE TIME, either neither of them work, both will open but one will not close, only one will open, etc.. and this drives me absolutely insane.I can hear the cutout motor clicking when I hit the switch (supplied in the kit) but the cutout won't budge. This is HORRIBLY annoying, as I live in a quiet neighborhood and my car is loud enough without the cutouts.. I basically can't use them without having at least one issue.Overall, I am VERY upset with QTP. I wish I would've cheaped out on the Chinese ones, they probably would've worked better.I'm even contemplating putting my manual cutouts back on, as these are so frustrating.KEEP SHOPPING.

Really cool!
I had it professionally installed and it looks like they didn't have enough wire to run it by made due. It's great being able to hit a button and the v8 is instantly nasty! Every once in a while, it opens by itself when I start it up. It comes with two key fabs but only one works. I haven't had time to call but I'm sure it'll be fine.
