Very good product
I can't complain about the sturdiness. I bought it a year ago or so. It doesn't feel loose and it's not rusty. I don't use it every day, but I think is a good product. The only issue I'd like to address is the grip. The edge could be longer for a better grip but overall it's good.

The only can opener you'll ever need!
Having tried all sorts of can openers over the years and not been happy with any of them, I bought this one four years ago. I have used it multiple times every week and it still looks brand new. More importantly it still works!

Nice little tin opener
A no frills tin opener, no moving parts to go wrong. The handles mean it is easy to manipulate even with arthritic fingers. It is excellent for rescuing failed openings. Ideal for camping.

It looks a bit strange!
Although it doesn't look like any can opener I've used before, once you've worked out how to attach it, it does work well. However, opened tins are more jagged than usual and it is a little slower to use, but there's nothing to break like my previous 3 can openers! I think it is a little expensive for what it is but at least I can open tins now without a hammer, screwdriver and pliers!!!

One of the Best Can Openers
It's simple, easy to use, opens cans quickly, and most importantly: reliably! I've tried SO many different can openers over the years from Starfrit, to Farberware to Swiss Army, and etc. Most of them started out great and opened cans effortlessly, but in a matter of months they got progressively worse and worse. Once they are one millimetre out of alignment or the cutting edge wears down just a little, they struggle to open cans. I ended up using the can opener on my pocket knife and it works really great, although, I kept wishing it were larger so that I could open cans faster, and shit Nogent can opener is the answer. It works exactly like the one on your pocket knife, except it's larger and easier to handle. I can open cans in mere seconds. My other family members were able to learn how to use after opening only a couple of cans. I highly recommend it.3" (7.5cm) long.

The tiger tank of can openers
I picked up one of these for my household preparedness kit on the recommendation of another website. I've just tested it on a couple of cans from the pantry, and I have to say it is astonishingly easy to use.It is one piece - no moving or folding parts at all. Fitting it onto the can's rim is intuitive. Twisting it so as to pierce the lid takes very little effort and the blade cuts right through. Moving it 'backward' along the rim is a simple and natural movement, and buzzing all the way around the lid goes quickly and easily.I've used the folding GI can openers, and the can opener built into my large Swiss Army Knife, and they are not even comparable in ease of use. Of course, they fold up and/or lie flat, which this one doesn't, but for household use, that doesn't matter. The construction is steel with plastic-covered handles, and doesn't come close to being bendable. The handle and L-shaped blade unit are held together with two large rivits. It looks very solid. It's small - 3" from tip-to-tip of the handle. The blade is not sharpened, but it is pointed enough to make trouble for anything it's stored next to - I'm thinking of wrapping it in a cloth and storing in with other items in a small box. In the kitchen drawer, I don't think there would be a problem.
