My Grandson lost this book from his collection so this was a perfect replacement

A great book to complement the narrative series. We're using it for our Spy School project English writing work.

The book is written by Anthony Horowitz and is an action book. This book is about a fourteen year old boy named Alex Rider. His parents died when he was a baby and his uncle was a spy until he got killed. Alex became a spy and then he got lots of missions. One of them was about a rich man who was sending a monkey into space. But MI6 knew he was up to something so Alex went to find out and became a prisoner. Luckily he escaped and got into his rocket. My favourite part was when he had a gadget which was a bug repellant but instead it attracts bugs in a 30 mile radius. He used it on a guard and all the bugs on the island were on him. My favourite character was Alex because he is really good at sports and he is brave, daring, courageous, bold and smart. I would recommend this book to people who like to read action books and a long series because it is intense and it is in a series of 12 books.By Ethan (Y6)
