This lens seems to know what I’m trying to photograph!

Lente boa, super funcional e versátil.Tive um pequeno problema na entrega que foi solucionado pelo fornecedor rapidamente.

Este lente me ha parecido una de las mejores compras para mi sony a7iii, ya tengo años con él y basicamente cubre casi todo lo que requiero para mi trabajo de fotografía, por el precio en comparación con otros me parece una excelente opción. El único detalle físico es que con el calor el plástico del arillo de zoom parece deformarse, conozco a otros usuarios de este tipo de lentes y les ha sucedido lo mismo pero no es nada que altere su funcionamiento. La calidad de las imagenes me parece excelente.

Nice lens

This 2.8 lens is sharp all the way to the corners. Used it recently for wedding shoot indoors with ambient light. No flash. Excellent results across focal range. Just have to watch focus and depth of field across all subjects when close to wide open. Solid build. Very pleased with it.But if you buy with Amazon.ca listed as seller. You can forget the manufacturers warranty. I have it in writing from Tamron Canada that you have to buy only from an authorized dealer to get the 6 year warranty. These are listed on their website. Luckily an alternate seller was listed on amazon.ca product page for same price (when I purchased anyway) and I registered with Tamron Canada for warranty once I received it.Unfortunately Tamron Canada and Tamron USA don't co-operate it seems. If you try to register online for Tamron USA 6 year warranty on their site you need a US address.

Disclaimer: I’m a photography enthusiast, not a professional. And I use the Sony a7iii body.Likes:- excellent (fast and accurate) autofocus on par with native Sony lens (of which I’ve used several). Works great with continuous autofocus - my 3 year old has put it through its paces indoors.- lightweight- moisture resistant- very good flare resistance (your images don’t get that annoying haze when you take pictures on sunny days facing the sun - and if they do it’s easily corrected in post).- very good color rendition.- very good out of camera contrast- ridiculously sharp (especially in the center, quite sharp in the corners, great sharpness throughout range).- one of the smaller zooms. Only the Sony Zeiss 24-70f4 is smaller.- f2.8 constant aperture allows for nice headshots/portraits at 75mm and great light gathering at 28mm- good bokehDislikes- a wee bit long. Not truly discrete.- zoom ring is reversed from focus ring. Feels weird. But if this is your first lens, it won’t matter. And after a while of only using this lens, it doesn’t matterNeutral- build quality. I think it looks and feels nice. Nowhere near as nice as most Sony Zeiss lenses. Some pros don’t like the plasticky feel. But for my purposes (family photos indoor and outdoor, vacation/travel and just everyday life) it’s top notch.Summary: Excellent all round lens for any amateur or enthusiast so long as you don’t need anything wider or longer.
