Worked fast on rose cuttings
My mother recently passed away and I used this product after taking cuttings of her rose bushes. The rose bushes have significant meaning to me as they had been transplanted from my grandmother's property when she died, with the original bushes being about 80 years old.I took the cuttings and after watching a few YouTube videos I went to it. Much to my delight, all the cuttings are taking root with very little effort.Tips for rooting roses: Be sure the cutting is scuffed up a bit (in the case of roses) to expose what's under the tough, green skin. Remove thorns, leaves and any blooms prior to attempting to have the cutting take root. And make sure the piece is wet before dipping into the FastRoot. Have a container with potting soil ready and holes (made by a pencil - works well) already in the medium so that the least amount of FastRoot is knocked off when placing in the dirt. This product is a good one - better than Clonex which I tried unsuccessfully first. Easy to use and it works as expected.

FastRoot makes the impossible.. Possible!
I have NEVER had a plant fail to thrive when using this product. I am a firm believer in its purpose and performance. Little sprigs that would have never made it without FastRoot now are huge and thriving. Good price and it arrived a day early! The jar is very small so don't be alarmed. It takes only a small amount. I wet the roots then roll them around in the white powder just before planting in a pot or the ground. Root hormone is in my top 10 arsenal of "Go To's". I have taken a cutting with a small hair like root, used FastRoot and the plant flourished all summer. A friend and I also have plants that were repotted at the same time. Some we gave FastRoot and some we did not. By far, the plants given FastRoot performed better all season with faster, fuller growth and more beautiful blooms. It is a must-have if you are a dedicated plant Rehabber. Enjoy your plants this season!

Worked great for this newbie to propagation!
First, I want to point out that I am a newbie to propagation and/or gardening, in general, and a notorious brown thumb type of person. So this is the first brand I have used as well as the first root hormone powder I have used. This was chosen solely on the strength of the Miracle GRO branding as I have successfully used their fertilizers for years. Well, it worked beautifully, despite my more than likely using too much as I did not shake any excess powder off before plugging my starters into potting soil. It wasn't until after I had plugged them in that I had watched a YouTube video demonstration on propagating a different plant that I learned a little goes a long way. Fear that I might have burned the heck out of the little sticks with too much hormones were put to rest, though. I'll definitely be sticking with this product for my propagation needs.

Works with Water Cultivation!
Since I couldn’t find any reviews of this being used on vining plant clippings in water, I decided to jump in with both feet and test it out. I am happy to announced that it worked for my pothos clippings! Read on for timeline and details.I bought this on the March 27th, I didn’t use it until the 29th. Today is April 6th and all but a couple of my Pothos clippings had their root nodes bud!I dipped each moistened node in the powder and placed them in a glass of room temp water. (See photo.) the water was nasty and gross to look at but I ignored the urge to replace the water for over a week, only refilling it as the water level dropped. When I did replace the water, I did NOT rinse the clippings. I wanted ever RootFast residue that was left on them to keep working it’s magic. I am hoping to be able to plant my clippings in soil by the end of the month. I’ll update then.

A Rooting Success!
Thanks for delivering my MiracleGro FastRoot rooting hormone powder so quickly. I received it on Saturday. Though I haven't had time to try it out on my numerous houseplants, from what I've read about the product, it has a high rooting success rate. I can't wait to try it on my African violet leaf cuttings in the next week or two. I would recommend it to all gardening enthusiasts. Thank you again. Happy Rooting!Best Regards fromMary Borden
