RPMR/C Products 81322 ESC Cage Black :Castle Sidewinder 4 ESC

Installation is easy and straightforward. Fits really well on a Traxxas rustler if you drill holes in your mounting plate. Great quality durable plastic made in the USA. Kinda wish it would hold the esc a little tighter but works very well. Definitely worth the money.

It was shipped well, looked great, and I thought it would fit the hobbywing 10bl120 and sadly it didn’t. It’s for a traxxas truck with a specific esc and it didn’t work with my application of build. Thought I could make it work but I’m sure if you got what the listing says it’s for it will work and you’d be happy :)

Exactly what I needed. Getting a Sidewinder 4? Buy this to put in your slash 4x4 or other similar chassis. May work for other models too. Holds the esc in place perfectly and sits wonderfully in the car with smaller spaces to run the wires through on the cage and allows it to also run the wires through the small spaces between the receiver box and the side of the cage (see photos)

It installs just like it was a factory part, the switch mounting point seems a little flimsy to me, so I might move it.

The only issue with this SW4 cage is the enormity of the thing. Not troublesome enough for the loss of a ratings star, but don’t expect to mount your SW4 behind an eighth scale motor using the stock holes.
