So warm, so comfortable and so tough.
This was my first barefoot shoe, and at first I was frustrated with these shoes because they felt like they were squishing the top of my big toe. The leather quickly stretched here and now they don't give me any discomfort. I wore these everyday to work this winter (they looked great with wool leggings, skirt, blouse, dress etc), as well as hiking at lower elevations. So far, they have remained comfortable on 5-6 mile hikes in the woods, but I haven't tested them on anything longer. Once, I forgot my super serious hiking boots and worse these instead, and my feet stayed totally warm because they were using all the muscles! After using them for 5 months straight, I love them and they have plenty of life left to make it through next fall/winter/spring. My feet have adjusted comfortably to the barefoot sole, and anything else feels so confining. I wish I could find another shoe just like this to wear hiking/to work this summer! This one is just too warm with the wool to make it work!A ++++

Good, but not...
Loved the shoes. I'm a dude so I ordered a 10.5 and they fit great. Only problem is that the image shows that the sole is stitched on. It isn't. When they arrived, they already showed signs of separation (an issue that I had read in many reviews of the male version). I called amazon and they refunded me $35. I needed them for hunting that weekend and they told me to go ahead and wear them on the hunt and if they came apart more, I could send them back. That's what happened and that's what I did. Amazon took care of me and I really did like the shoes. Super comfortable and I had a hard time sending them back. They also kept my feet pretty warm considering it was down to 0 degrees at night (feet were still cold, but not as cold as I thought they would be). If you intend on wearing these around town and not on the trail, then get them. Otherwise, good luck finding a durable and stylish minimal hiking boot.

Great Cool Weather Barefoot Boot
This is an excellent boot. The fit is exactly as expected, loose enough to fit a warm pair of socks, but not so loose as to cause uncomfortable rubbing. The shearling lining is very soft, and provides just enough warmth so that it's comfortable in the cold, but not going to cause sweating. I've been wearing these boots in some pretty rough and rocky conditions for several weeks so far, and they seem to be holding up well. Like all the Vivos I've owned in the past, the quality appears to be great. This probably goes without saying, but since "good arch support" was listed as a review criterion, these boots provide absolutely no arch support, which is as intended for a good barefoot shoe.

Would be amazing if not wide/sloppy and falling apart
These would be amazing if (1) they weren't so wide and bulky, especially through the top of the ankle, and (2) they didn't arrive with the sole already separating in a couple of places. Over the course of 6 weeks of wear the sole shows signs of separating in about 15 more locations; it doesn't look nice and I bet it will negatively affect their water resistance. Hopefully some glue/epoxy can help fix it--though that may not look good or function well, either. They are still one of the best solutions I've found so far for minimal winter shoes--with a nice pair of wool socks these are flexible and warm enough for normal use. I haven't deliberately slogged through puddles in them, but with random splashing and snow and slush, and moderate rain, I've never had wet feet. The leather itself holds up well and looks nice in a "distressed" way even with winter wear. I hope they can fix the issue with the separating sole and the bulky, sloppy, wide fit!

Glad I bought them!
I have only had the Vivobarefoot Women's Gobi II Hi Top boots for approximately three weeks but I am very pleased with them. I left it too late to get the size I wanted from Amazon.co.uk so I went to Amazon.com. I had to pay on top of the price for tax and the postage cost more, coming from the US, but they were not much more expensive than if I had bought them in the UK. The style and the fit and very good in my opinion; I was expecting problems. I have fallen arches and chilblains but since I have been wearing these boots my chilblains have subsided not just because the weather is milder but partly, I think, because there is so much room across the toe area and in the depth of the toe box and because the temperature seems to keep on an even keel); my arches have not been painful at all even though I keep the boots on all day and would normally have orthotic supports in my shoes/boots. I am very satisfied with the boots and wish that I could get some of the men's Vivobarefoot shoes in a size 39 as I really like the style of some of them. I will definitey be looking to buy another pair, even though I will have to save up for them.

I wore them around the house for about an hour and while they were a tiny bit tight on the toes I generally like to buy shoes I
So I just received my shoes in the mail. I vary between a size 40 and 42 Eur, and my order had been cancelled prior to due to lack of stock on the 42 so I sprung for a 40 because I'm impatient.I wore them around the house for about an hour and while they were a tiny bit tight on the toes I generally like to buy shoes I know I'll wear often a teeny bit tight because I know I'll work them in. I can tell after a couple short hikes these shoes will wear and fit perfectly. If you like your shoes a bit on the big side I would order a size up from what you would usually wear. I can already tell they are built sturdy and the materials will last. The soles are very comfortable and true to the minimalist style. I really enjoy the design, they remind me very much of the cute stylish blowfish ankle boots and the like, but are obviously made for wear in actual cold wea t her environments. I wish the shoe laces were a bit longer and will probably replace them with something sturdier.all in all I got what I asked for and I would buy from this seller again. If I have anything more significant to say about the wear in the next few weeks I will update.

Gute Wahl!

These boots give me wings! ;)
I am a six and I ordered 6.5 so I could fit winter socks in. Loads of yummy room for toes and warm. The sole is amazing as expected as I have a few pairs of Vivo's now. Can wear with skirts and when they wrinkle from wear a bit they are good looking. No need to break in as leather is so soft. Really amazing boots. Love this company and want all my footwear from Vivo forevermore! :-)
