Super easy install as one might expect. Fast shipping. Just installed them today and haven't seen them in the dark yet so I can't speak of the brightness. I did test them out in the day with one new bulb and one old bulb. I could tell that the LED was brighter. Looking forward to the sun going down so I can get a good look at them

I specifically ordered these because the picture on Amazon showed them as being a single contact (in the middle) bulb but when I got them they had the double contact middles. I was going to return them but I havent been able to find the single contact LED bulbs to replace the ones needed for my 1972 Dodge sportwagen. I guess it never hurts to have extra though, and I might be able to still get the to work. We'll see.

Bright bulbs

I have purchased and installed 10 of these bulbs. Within 6 months 2 of them failed ( no longer produce light). This is a 25% failure rate! UNACCEPTABLE! I like they are twice as bright as incandescent so safer as others can see you are braking. But quality is poor.

Look good

These were brighter than the incandescents and another brand of LED that I did have in the tail/brake/blinker lights. At first I thought they fit and they lit up, but what I didnt' realize is that going down the road with over bumps is that they fit loosely so they were constantly blinking or even shutting off. I've tested other LED and incandescent bulbs and they all fit and connect well. These are too small for the socket and the contacts are ascew. Otherwise if they fit they seem to function well and quickly and like I said, they're brighter. I can't speak to the longevity. I would like a refund for due to poor fitment. I even tried the old farmer trick of putting some putty in the socket to fill the gap or bending my prongs out a little to get better contact. No luck.

This product is listed as a fit for a 1969 VW Beetle. The polarity is reversed on the lights, and due to the positioning of the alignment pins, there is no way to install it without cutting your wires and reversing the polarity of your tail light wiring. Not sure if it would work for other vehicles or not, but the wiring standard, is well, standard. Buyer beware on this product.

This doesn't fit my 1988 toyota pickup. Contacts on bottom of bulb are not located in the correct position. When you insert the bulb it makes contact and glows super bright, but when you turn the bulb to lock it in place the contact is broken and bulb turns off. I gave it a one star for fitment.
