It is great to wrap yourself in or to lay across your lap to stay warm. I have a queen-sized blanket draped across the side of large sofa, and it looks fabulous. Sitting on it feels heavenly. I am glad I went with a larger size as it really adds to the sense luxury.We chose a lighter color and are very pleased. We also considered a darker shade or black. This light choice also has a hint of black intermixed, so it works out perfectly. It looks great with our black faux fur pillow covers.One of my cats initially wanted to eat the blanket, but he left it alone after a gentle shooing. He tried licking it once, but he quickly lost interest. He does enjoy sleeping on it, and he looks adorable.This blanket would be excellent for gifting. It is an ideal choice for Game of Throne fans. It would pair nicely with a skein - it could be used as a decorate piece much like a vase. Faux fur pillow covers with inserts would also pair nicely, as would a game based on the show - there are a few to choose from.Highly recommended.

Not only is this a great warm blanket, it almost doubles as a weighted blanket.I was looking for a blanket to use in my 18th century encampment, that would help me stay warm in the colder months. Combined with my wool blanket, I am staying toasty warm.

For the price, this is a great quality faux fur blanket. It's not a buffalo hide, but it's a very nice heavy warm soft faux fur blanket that adds the natural fur element to decor. It's not cheapy. I got this as a throw over my king bed, and I will be ordering at least one more in another color for my living room.

The best faux fur blanket I've ever found such a realistic fur and the velvety underside is incredible. It does get hot but not to the point that I'm sweating under it.

Bought this blanket 3 years ago almost and have to say, it’s held up extremely well between 2 moves and is on my bed every night as a second cover. Wish the fur was softer still but it’s understandable after this long. Velvet side is still nice.

had this for a few years now. kept me warm, but it allows air to breath through it. i like this because it keeps from waking up in a pool of sweat. shows no signs of wear or tear.

I wanted to wait until I could review this item properly. Unfortunately after five months it looks like this. This is only a decorative item, if you wish to actually use this item that you put on your couch as a throw and use it it will eventually look like this. I absolutely loved the look of it when I purchased it it was soft and fluffy and looked amazing, however it is temporary and sadly the feathered look then looks more like a matted dog. It is far too expensive for five months of use.

Not very soft. Previous reviews made it seem like it’s an ultra soft throw like others you get these days. It’s not. It feels more like natural long thick animal fur like bear or horse. Maybe slightly softer than that. But definitely not super soft. It’s beautiful though.

I was debating between this throw and others and I glad I forked out the extra $ to get this one. It fits across a king size bed quite nicely and looks real. Quality-wise, I'm impressed. Would recommend.

I loved everything about this throw, my issue is the throw did not fit with my decor. It looked too heavy. Being a prime member I didn't think I would have to pay for the return. As the return would have been over $50+ I had no other logical choice than to keep it.UPDATE: I purchased this second throw knowing it was a heavier throw than others, however the color was just too good to pass. I love the material and the look, very elegant and sophisticated, no regrets.
