When ironed flat, ribbon is approximately 2cm wide, but it is not made to lie flat permanently. Due to the properties of natural silk, different lots may vary slightly in shade. Each strand is one of a kind. The paint is ecologically responsible, non-toxic and safe. The silk ribbons are pre-washed and do not fade. Weave several colors together for a necklace, knot between beads, thread through wire or chain, use in hair adornment, etc. The options are endless. Excellent, quality product
Excellent, quality product. Very pleased by the darker turquoise color and texture. I'm using my silk ribbon with a pendant - looks so great as a necklace, and I like that it's washable.

Fairy Ribbon is hard to find!
I ordered several colors of this beautiful silk ribbon. It is perfect for the large pendants that are so in fashion these days. The length is just right and the ends being finished really leave you with only the decision of what to embellish it with. I shopped all of the bead and craft stores locally and was only able to find organza ribbon being sold as 'silk' fairy ribbon. No comparison at all. These are the real thing!

Texture
This ribbon adds an interesting touch of texture to my projects and the color is just gorgeous, I'd love to have more in every color offered!
