Fireplace Blower with Power Cord 75 cfm Fbo

Our 12 year old Heatilator propane unit didn't have a fan when we bought the house a few months ago. After lots and lots of research I found this unit and decided for the price it was worth a try. It installed easily (literally plug and play) as we already had a fan plug-in/switch wired into the unit. Only thing I can recommend is let the fireplace box heat-up before starting the fan. It seems to allow the fireplace to heat-up and circulate the air better. Tried it without heating up first and it seems the fan was keeping the unit from heating in a timely manner. Other than that very pleased with this purchase.

Does what I wanted. I put this together with a thermal switch and a smart plug to get some home automation for the fireplace. Works like a charm.

Easy to install, quiet running, with adequate output for size of fireplace. Good value for the money!

I don't fault the blower. A bigger blower might not fit and be as easy to install. If the kit came with two blowers for twice the price, I would give it 5 stars, but this was something I had to find out by testing similar units first. One blower just doesn't move enough air to push the heat out.The unit was simple to install and there were no fitment issues. It also doesn't come with unnecessary extras such as a thermostat or a switch for manual or automatic control that adds cost and complexity to the install. I had experimented with a similar blower and knew that I needed two units. Having three units per fireplace wouldn't be a bad idea either, but that's puts the total cost to ~$150.With just one unit, you cannot hear it running at all. With two units, you will be able to hear it, but only when you are standing right next to the fireplace. I haven't installed a third unit yet.Though I only gave it 3 stars, I would recommend this unit and will probably purchase another one for more capacity.

Didnt recieve product.... needed this because blower went out on the gas fireplace, its the only source of heat we have, and apparantly the product was lost and we couldnt reorder

This works very well. I only gave it 4 stars because it is a bit noisier than I thought it would be. We have grown accustomed to it and don't notice so much anymore. Still this product works very well to move the heat from our gas fireplace.

This was a great purchase! It was soooooo easy to install!!! Just make sure you have an electrical plug where you want to install it and it takes less than 5 minutes!
