Best Feng Shui book I own
I have practiced Feng Shui for 30 years in my own homes and friend's homes. This book, while a bit complicated, is the best for cures. I recently developed TMJ on the right side. This is a very painful condition that created many sleepless nights. When I finally thought to look for a Feng Shui cure, I spotted the advice on clashing doors. I didn't have that, but on the right side of the bedroom hallway I had a pair of door that have irritated me for the year I've been in this house. They open to the master closet, and are a path to the bathroom without having to enter the bedroom. They stick and are a pain so I usually keep them open and then have to move around them to enter the bedroom. I decided to just close them and not use that doorway and...TMJ vanished.

A great deal of information and lucidly written
You can follow the instructions in this book. It will especially appeal to persons whom already have some experience in tantric or other Tibetan Buddhism, but could be used by anyone. It is in the black-hat tradition, not the traditional 'compass school' tradition. If you are comfortable with that sort of approach, which can be somewhat intuitive or even completely intuitive at times, then this will appeal to you. You can adhere to the rules set down because they are clearly explained. But the writer also gives you permission to trust yourself.

I read a library copy that was falling apart and then purchased a copy for myself. This was my first introduction to the concept of feng shui and I intend to try out a lot of her suggestions.

Some conflicting and contradictory information from what I've read from FengShui Masters
I got this book at a discount store and was very excited to start reading. It is written in a good style and I found it quite interesting, however, the main problem I have with this book is that I see a bit of"her feng shui" that is contradictory to what I've read for years, things that have been consistent from Feng Shui Masters writing. Now, I understand that anyone can call themselves a Feng Shui Master, and I've even talked to supposedly experts on Feng Shui and when I ask them how to correct a certain problem they will answer with " Use Intention" (well, if you're going to settle on "intention" only, why even use Feng Shui?) And this writer, is by no means, like that. I see a lot of educated and informative information here, its just that it is, more than once, conflicting from what I've "grown up " to know about Feng Shui. (colors, directions, etc.) As I am not a Feng Shui Master, or expert by any means, I leave it to you, the reader, and take this into consideration. Perhaps it may not be best to take everything at face value. At least do some research.
