I put them in slow cooker with water, whole onion cut in half, tomato paste and turned out omg amazing. I had been sick and cannot taste for weeks but I can taste sweetness from these beans, it was exciting, texture was creamy and amazing. If it goes on sale I'll double but these to stock up. Better than Walmart beans. These seems easier to digest than Walmart brands. It is sweet and addictive. Memorable too. I also used left over from slow cooker for vegan pinto beans with flax meat balls, freeze left of those. Turned out amazing!

These dried pinto beans were the cleanest dried beans I’ve encountered in a long while. They were whole, perfect and there were no stones among them. They cooked up beautifully, tender and flavorful and without additional time needed. I am impressed💕

As vegans, we use a lot of beans in cooking. These pinto beans look to be fresh and solid, not at all wrinkled, which means they should be fresh. Looking through the beans, they seem to be uniformly in excellent condition. I haven't used them yet, but previous purchases from Be Still Farms have been of good quality. Because of this and the appearance of the beans, I gave 5 stars in advance for flavor! I gave 4 stars for the price...I want organic beans, and I would not want to pay a cheap price from another seller and risk the beans being old and of poor quality. I have confidence buying from this seller, so I was willing to pay extra.Update: I thought all pinto beans tasted alike. I was wrong! These have wonderful flavor, better than any other pinto beans we've eaten all our lives. Sounds a little over the top, but it's true. My husband noticed the excellent taste, also, and that is unusual!

Great flavor. A bit pricey.

Recently I saw a recipe for crockpot refried beans! Couldn’t stop thinking about them, it looked so good. However having done research on toxins that are in our food these days I knew the dry pintos absolutely had to be organic (Which these are). However, even switching over to Organic only I haven’t been able to consume beans, they don’t agree with me. Doesn’t matter how they are cooked, crock pot, instant pot, oven, stove, soaking, sprouted, makes no difference. But I was really hungry for beans and up to this point I have never looked for one that were glyphosate free until I found these by Be Still Farms. Well, I’m pleased to report that I am able to eat these beans without the usual digestive upsets. Other Organic Beans I have been able to eat one small serving and still get digestive repercussions for days and weeks. These I have been able to eat a serving daily and it has not caused me problems! It’s much cheaper in the long run and healthier to get these dry beans and make your own than to purchase in the store when you have no idea what you are getting as pinto beans (and most beans) can have high Glyphosate levels, even in Organic.
