The instructions say to "use a lid for a clean burn and even wax pool". How do you do that? Burning it with the lid doesn't make sense to me.

Hi, I already used my candle, so I don't have the directions anymore to refer to. What I remember, is that it said that the first time you light the candle, let it burn for several hours- either three or four hours before putting the lid back on, so it creates an even pool of melted wax. That is so the wax doesn't only create pits around the wicks. When a candle is burned for a short time and creates a pit around the wick and the wax on the sides (of container) is not melted, you end up with fewer total hours of burning during the life of the candle.
