A 50% difference in my shoe's comfort!
So far, I have bought three pair of these, because the first pair was so good I couldn't help myself. Now I know that we all don't need ANOTHER review, but again, I couldn't help myself! :)I have been looking at these for awhile now, and it was only the other day that I decided to try them, I'm glad that I did. Not only did these work, they work very well. The FIRST PAIR (white) was for a brand new pair of Adidas walking shoes, they felt O.K., but with these, it made them REALLY comfortable! I walked on my treadmill and it made quite the difference. To say I was impressed, well, I was.I'd rate the comfort in these shoes as a 6 out of 10, (with 10 being best) but, it's the shoe, not the laces, I think, I'll get back to you on that if I find something different. The SECOND PAIR I bought was for an older pair of "tennis shoes" (that's what we call call them in Texas) that were really still very nice, even though they are probably around 15 years old. I rarely wear them, only to run out real fast, or something, the reason was that I bought them a size too small. I wear a 9-1/2 and these were a size 9...Anyway, they kind of hurt my feet if I wore them too long, hence why I rarely wear them, so after I put on my new GREY color shoe laces!(A guy in a Review above me complained because there were no grey colored ones, well, they do have them)These laces made such a HUGE difference that it was at least a 50 increase in comfort, I can only guess that since they were slightly too small, these stretch laces allowed my foot to expand horizontally, hence my newfound comfort. I just walked 30 minutes on my treadmill and they were perfect! I now not only have a comfortable shoes, I actually gained a new pair of shoes! :)I would rate these a 9 out of 10, I'd give them a 10 but I don't have enough use to really rate them. I love 'em though! So, today my THIRD PAIR arrived, they are for my hiking boots (that I never hike in), I just wear them everywhere. While the laces were very comfortable, this pair did not make me scream with joy, I liked it, a lot, but it was not a huge difference.I'd rate these at a 8 out of 10, again, I am unsure of the longevity, but my initial trial is that these are going to be good. The GOOD THING though is, I can slip on, and off, ALL of my shoes with ease, and that to me is a really good thing.I read a lot of complaints about how the snap closure doesn't work well, I found that to not be true in my case. You need to understand how they work, then you can make them work. You need to make sure that the lace is nowhere in the way of the snap, if it is, it won't close properly. Also, if you screw up, and I did, you can undo the snap by using a ball-point pen or something semi-pointed that is not sharp that you can poke into the end of it, that releases it. You can then try snapping them again, it ought to work fine. It makes an audible CLICK! when snapped correctly. For the people that lose them, I would almost bet that they never had them snapped correctly in the first place.Makes sure that you do your part correctly because these seem to be made very well and I can sure see how someone that isn't good at these things could have trouble. I had a little trouble on my first one, so I can relate. One more thing. I have also read Reviews where people say they they BROKE while tying them. Broke? Tying them? You don't need to tie them, you rarely need to pull on them if you install them correctly. These are designed to be a looser fit than a regular shoelace, and, they DO NOT need tying, not even a little bit. Look at the pictures, that will show you what you need to make yours look like. The way I have mine done there will be no way that I can ever break my laces, there are no knots, not tangles, no nothing to make it ever snap or break. If you adjust yours quite a bit I can see that wear can happen, but that would take a long while, I would think.Just something to think about. :)I know this is long, probably no one will ever read it, but In felt I needed to say how well these are! :)I'll be back for a report on how well they did after some time, just to make sure that I'm not giving credit if they are not what I said they were..

works great
Got these in the mail, easy to place and looks great on my shoe. I love that you can loosen and tighten the laces unlike other "Tieless" shoe laces. Design is asthetically pleasing as well.

Speeds up the shoe process!
Getting my son out of the door in the morning was taking forever once he picked a pair of shoes with laces, instead of velcro. Someone had to first untie the double knots and then get them back on his feet & retied. I replaced the laces with these no-tie laces & now he can easily slip them on & off by himself. No more mad dashes to catch the bus!

Fantastic!
The original laces were these thin, crappy POS things that wouldn’t stay stuck through the shoe eyeholes, shoes always felt loose on the feet. I was constantly re-threading them, tying more knots, etc. The difference with these is like night and day. You loosen them up to get the shoe on, cinch them back in place and you’re good to go with a snug-fitting shoe; you don’t have to think about laces again until you take the shoes off. Why Hoka didn’t design their shoes like this to start with is beyond me.

So great, I immediately got a second set!
I ride a lot of PEVs and love the waffle bottoms of Vans for riding- the only thing for me is I like my laces to be tight so I feel secure and don't slip around in my shoes while I'm riding. With traditional laces, I was finding it difficult to get in and out of my shoes. I'd either need to fuss around trying to loosen the laces all the way down 3 or 4 eyelets and then redo them again. Or I'd started recently using a shoe-horn to help get my heel into my shoes without crushing my fingers. These laces solved all my problems. It's like having the convenience of slips-ons, with all the benefits of being able to tighten down laces. I can easy get in and out of my Vans without a shoe horn or any struggle, they slide on and off so comfortably... but then I can synch down that elastic friction lock and feel as secure as I did with well-tied traditional laces. Best of both worlds! These worked so well on my high tops, that I immediately bought a second pair for my ankle-highs. They're that good.

Didn't think they work
I did not have high hopes for these laces, but the price was pretty low so I figured; why not? After I did my first golf shoe (super simple by the way) and tried it on I was very impressed. Quickly did the 2nd one and took some practice swings. These things work very well and are not cumbersome at all...that was one of my concerns.Love them so much I ordered 3 more pair for my other shoes.Absolutely worth it!

Love these but the plastic broke off quickly
Pros:Convenience: These laces are incredibly convenient. They eliminate the need to constantly tie and untie your shoes, which is especially great for kids.Comfort: The elastic material provides a comfortable fit, allowing my shoes to flex with my feet without feeling too tight or restrictive. This makes them perfect for activities like running or casual walking.Easy Installation: Installing these laces was straightforward and didn’t take much time. The instructions were clear, and I had them set up in just a few minutes.Cons:Durability: Unfortunately, the bottom plastic piece that secures the laces fell off after just a few uses. This was quite disappointing, as it affects the overall functionality and security of the laces.

Durable and convenient
I waited a while to write this review, as I wanted to see how well this product would perform in the long run. I've had these elastic shoelaces for nearly 9 months and am happy to report that after adjusting them to get the right fit, they have stayed perfectly in place. There has been no stretching, no shifting, no unsnapping. Having them on my walking shoes has been a very convenient choice. I am happy with my purchase.

Excelente producto
Es la segunda ocasión que compro estas agujetas elásticas para dos pares de botas. Son fáciles de poner y de usar, y los colores combinan muy bien con mi calzado. Muy recomendables.

Really good
I am getting older and less agile and wanted to get rid of laces that kept coming undone. These seemed like a good idea - easy to put in although my arthritic fingers struggled a bit with the two clasps so I had to resort to using a pair of pliers to hold them open to thread the laces and snap the other two clasps firmly shut. Very pleased with the result - having read the reviews I left a bit more lace until I had worn my trainers a couple of times and then I can adjust them if necessary.

Elastic laces
Quick and easy to fit. This is the first time using these laces, time will tell on the durability of them, but they are a sturdy well made lace.

They look great.
They were a little hard to install as springs were very strong to hold down while lace was threaded through. But once finished they looked neat and smart.
