It’s a good lead but doesn’t stop it reaching its full tort with my dog. It took him one day to work out how to pull on it. It is the human problem not the lead or dog fault.So if your dog thinks it’s pulling a sledge, it will still not stop the pulling. Nothing substitutes training

Arf/5.Have owned a number of shock absorber type leads before, also owned standard leashes, slip leads, extending leads, all sorts and for my over enthusiastic hard pulling SBT X JRT this is the BEST.I am badly disabled in my left foot after a motorcycle accident and near amputation of my foot. This makes walking this dog very hard. Often pulling me off balance or causing me to put a painful amount of weight through my disabled foot.This leash prevents it almost. The shock absorbency ACTUALLY works. You get either a couple seconds of soft pull in which to prepare for the inevitable yank or my dog clearly interprets the sensation as me reeling him back in and stops pulling himself. Great stuff!!!Lead feels sturdy with nice details including an extra loop for attaching things to on the lead (I have a carabiner on there to hold any full poo bags). Clips are good quality. Lead is light but feels durable. The handle is ergonomic, soft and comfortable even with prolonged use. Stitching, colouration without flaw.Happy to pay the price I paid so I consider it a bargain. Delivery time was more than acceptable. Really happy with this purchase!!!

Elastic snaps inside after one week. Purchased a few now and all have done it. I have a large dog but not good for his size.

Clip fastener broke after two weeks and I’d now unusable

I love the shorter control handle and the main handle is very comfortable to hold. The bungee element is great for taking the weight out of my boxers pulling, it gives him a little too much leeway for me, I’d go for less stretch next time. Feels sturdy though.

Now if your dog is a lunger let it be known the suspension will let them lunge more forward, however, the extra handle makes it really easy to hold them close when a trigger is around. We tried an old lead for a day to compare with this one (had for months now) the difference is unreal. It’s so much easier to walk the dog now

These dog leads do not what it says our 2 girls still pull they are a strong lead but don't do the thing it says I am disappointed
