F&G Supplies 25cm tall lipped wooden vase ornament carved from the roots of giant teak trees - a beautiful gift

I wanted a non breakable vase to brighten up a funny little area of an upstairs landing. It might get knocked over by people passing with bags etc so it needed to be robust. This gorgeous little vase is just the thing. It's natural wood so there are patterns from the bark etc and with a few gold palm leaves (also from Amazon) it is exactly what I need to brighten up a dingy corner. Quick delivery and beautiful vase. Perfect!

Nice piece. Given its origins, you will get imperfections and mine has a missing 'knot' of wood on one side. Im not undully concerned at this as I know how this is to be expected from such pieces, but it may surprise or worry some others, so please be aware of this when buying. The piece arrives unfinished, its been turned on a wood lathe and then packed. I cleaned mine with a soft rag with some olive oil. Rub olive oil into it and let it soak in over night and you get a lovely finish which shows this wood off nicely

Avoid this product like the plague! If I could give it no stars I would. The height is 25cm, but the hollow ( or depth of vase) inside is only like 11cm. That could have been passable ( unless you want it for long stemmed dried flowers/ grasses), but there is a HUGE crack from top to bottom of the vase. I would’ve put photos up but Amazon make it too complicated to just upload a couple, without giving them permission for all camera/photo access. I am seriously disappointed and what a waste of money. Really avoid this product!

As the description says - ‘Ideal as a decorative piece on its own, or for pot pourri etc - this is for decorative purposes only!’ Pretty, but not intended to hold water. The base is too narrow, and the hollow is too shallow to hold long-stemmed flowers. Works OK with short-stemmed artificial flowers, grasses or twigs, although these may need propping up against a wall or in a corner. Or, do as the description suggests - fill it with pot pourri.

This is beautiful. Not really suitable for flowers as it is not calved out all the way through, but I have used it for my twig lights and the wood matches my furniture perfectly
