While this scooter may work for city transportation I cannot recommend it for anything other than perfectly flat and smooth paths.Since getting mine 10 months ago I've used it for several commutes to and from my work and have found it lacking in several key areas. The 'suspension' is barely felt and small bumps or uneven patches in pathways can be felt in both your legs and arms. Once on an incline the scooter will do one of two things, if your going downhill you will need to use both brakes to control the 22kmph speed it will reach but if your going uphill at even a slight 20 degrees incline expect to push and put the motor on full power to achieve 8kmph as the scooters struggles under its own weight and that of the rider.After going one such bump today the right hand control has now come loose, making control of the scooter all but impossible. The wheels themselves are solid "soft" wheels which translates to them wearing down very quickly to an almost smooth surface making the scooter dangerous in wet conditions. When I contacted the creators to ask about ordering replacement wheels I was told they do not make any replacement parts for this model, take from that what you will.I do not recommend this scooter in any way shape or form for even city use as I suspect these defects will surface in even smooth city use over time.
