Our Granddaughter put this together all by herself and it didn’t take long to do it!! She was very proud to accomplish this on her own!! She had fun doing it as well!! The puzzle is well made and has such beautiful colors and is fun for kids to do on their own!!

When even the manufacturer’s web site tells you a puzzle is only available at retailers and those retailers are gouging you on price, you can count on Amazon. “Horse Dreams” is such a popular item that even Amazon sold out of the puzzle every time I tried to purchase it. However, the puzzle was well worth the wait! Ravensburger’s “Horse Dreams” is a glittery, sparkling 100-piece puzzle that children, like my granddaughter, who are enamored of sparkles and glitterng objects will love. The spectacular scene of a horse and rainbow are absolutely beautiful. Featuring a pink-maned horse, multiple, colorful butterflies and a rainbow, this puzzle has enough distinct areas to prevent a child becoming frustrated because they cannot distinguish which piece fits into a particular area. Ravensburger’s “Horse Dreams” puzzle is sturdy and the illustration is firmly attached to the backing. This should prevent those children who take everything apart from “peeling” the puzzle pieces apart. The die-cuts are smooth, allowing for easy assembly. Pieces fit together well. They are not so tight that a child will become frustrated, nor so loose that the puzzle will fall apart if jostled slightly. Even the box Ravensberger has used is sturdy. Although recommended for ages 6-years and older, I think many older children would be uninterested in a puzzle that is less complicated than others having more pieces. However, younger children with whom an adult is “playing” can enjoy Ravensburger’s “Horse Dreams” puzzle. This Ravensberger puzzle is definitely a 5-star item– not only for the fun factor, but also for durability and educational value.

Really colorful and pretty! Great gift for any kid like.. me! 😏 I would really recommend this because it looks just about exactly the same as the picture, and when finished, looked really beautiful!! Only bad thing is that it can fold easily. While I was making it, a couple pieces bent a little. Overall, this is a good puzzle! Looking forward to buying more puzzles from this brand. 😁

I absolutely love puzzles made by Ravensburger. The quality of these puzzles exceeds any other by far. The pieces, themselves, are very sturdy. They don't get bent easily, or have the picture part peel off. the pieces fit together without question of whether they fit or not. The puzzle looks amazing after it is put together. The puzzle by Ravensburger can be done and done again, without worry of them wearing out. The age recommendation is right on. My 6 year old has done this puzzle, and other Ravensburger puzzles, over and over. Her frustration with doing 100 piece puzzle dramatically decreased once I got this one compared to other brands of puzzles. Other kinds make it difficult to tell whether pieces go together and bend easily, but you won't find that with this puzzle. The pieces all stay in place. Also, the way the glitter is added, there is no question that it will not come off. Now she's asking for more. I paid full price for this item.

I got this Horse Dreams puzzle for my granddaughter who just turned six. We made it about 20 times during our visit. It is challenging enough to be, well, a challenge, and beautiful enough to capture every little girl's heart. 100 pieces is a bit easy for her; regardless, I got her another one - Cinderella - in 100 pieces. Mom said she did this one in one hour. The scene, however, is the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella in her new, magical dress in the garden - the absolute best scene in the movie, maybe. I highly recommend these puzzles. The 100 is not too hard for 6, but she could probably do the next size up (160 pieces?). I chose by scene, though. Hours and hours of fantasy fun.

My daughter loves this puzzle. We do a puzzle most nights and she loves the colours and glitter of this one. She can do the puzzle now by herself with maybe a bit of guidance.

Was kann man über ein Puzzle groß sagen? Hm, zum Beispiel einiges darüber, warum man es sich angeschafft hat, wie man das Motiv findet, wie die Puzzleteile von der Qualität sind, ob die Schwierigkeitsstufe gemessen an der Altersempfehlung angemessen ist. Nun, wir haben dieses Puzzle als Tagesbeigabe für einen Adventskalender besorgt. Unsere Idee: An jedem Tag kommen zusätzlich zu etwas Süßem ein paar Puzzleteile in den Sack. Damit die Teile zu den Teilen des jeweiligen Vortages passen, mussten wir das Puzzle selbst zusammenbasteln und konnten uns ein Bild von Schwierigkeitsgrad und Optik machen. Für das Zusammensetzen des Puzzles haben wir (zwei Erwachsene) gute 20 Minuten gebraucht . Nicht ganz einfach zusammenzusetzen sind vor allem der rosa Hintergrund und das Pferd, weil es sich hier doch um optisch teilweise ziemlich ähnliche Teile handelt (sowohl was die Ausstanzung, sprich Zähne und Einbuchtungen der Teile angeht als auch die Farbe). Für Kinder ab 6, unter Anleitung sicher aber auch etwas früher, ist dieses Puzzle nicht supereinfach zu lösen, aber gut machbar. Das Motiv entschädigt dann auch absolut für die Mühe. Die Teile selbst sind (wie man es von diesem Hersteller gewohnt ist) sauber ausgestanzt. Alles passt perfekt und ohne Widerstand ineinander. Auch beim "Auseinanderbauen" ist nichts ausgefranst, wie wir es leider schon beim Puzzle eines anderen Herstellers schon beim ersten Abbau erleben mussten. Da hatten sich dann Teile der Motivfolie von der Pappe an den Kanten oder Ecken gelöst. Nicht hier. Auch kann man sich nach dem Prinzip "Schlüssel und Schloss" gerne einmal an den sehr verschieden ausfallenden Ausbuchtungen/Zähnen und den Einkerbungen der einzelnen Puzzleteile orientieren, wenn man mit dem Motiv oder der Farbe selbst nicht weiterkommt. Was im Endeffekt beim Zusammenbauen herauskommt, ist ein kunterbuntes, rosalastiges für Kinder-/Mädchenaugen aber umso schöneres Pferdemotiv mit viel (auch aufgesetztem) Glitzer, Blumenwiese und wunderschön bunten Schmetterlingen. Mag es für Erwachsenenaugen sicher viel Kitsch sein, für Kinder ist es sicher eine unglaubliche, traumähnliche Fantasielandschaft. Schön fanden wir auch den aufgesetzten Glitter, weil er dem Puzzle neben der glatten Oberfläche auch ein bisschen pädagogisch wertvolle raue Oberflächenhaptik gibt. Fazit: Dieses Puzzle ist zugegeben gruselig mädchenkitschig – aber gerade deswegen supergeeignet für kleine Prinzessinenkinderaugen. Rosabunt und glitzernd entsteht aus großen Puzzleteilen eine Traumlandschaft für kleine Pferdeliebhaberinnen. Die Teile sind sauber ausgestanzt und passen gut ineinander. Insgesamt ist das also die gewohnte solide Ravensburger-Qualität. Prädikat: empfehlenswert.
