Awesome for use in my sourdough
Saw pink sourdough on Pinterest, and had to try. I made pink bread for finger sandwiches for Galentines Day with my friends. Look at it!! It was freaky but fabulous. Looked like cake. Tasted like bread.

delicious and pretty!
Delicious additive for food stuffs. And generally one of my favorite flavors. Worked great in a cake and a bunch of drinks I made. The color is vibrant! I look forward to the next time I am making something i can use this for.

Beautiful color but expensive
I use it to make Mochi, the color is beautiful, expect it's kind of expensive.

Used for Sugar Free Milk Tea
So happy about making my own milk tea without sugar. I use regular milk, 4 drops of now liquid stevia, & start with a tsp of the powder with a little bit of milk to make a slurry before slowly adding milk. It's not super smooth since I'm not using a blender, but tastes excellent.

Nice, Vivid Hue ... Natural Food Dye
We run an organic baking operation and would never use the standard dyes on the market which are derived from petroleum and other non-edible sources. It's great to have a perfect purple hue I can use in my dough products! The only thing about this product that will make me hesitate when ready to buy again is the fact that the potatoes are sourced from China. I am always worried about things that come from China as they have few if no standards at all when it comes to food products. The listing does state organic, however, this perhaps is organic in the European market and is not certified organic by the USDA, though I personally would trust the European standard for organic before I trust the US standard for organic.

Not sure about it, did not retain any color after baking.
Not impressed with it. I got it for my baked breads (such as ube pandesal). It didn’t hold its color into my baked goods, not even with the addition of ascorbic acid. Was pink for maybe 30 minutes after baking, then it turned an ugly brownish color. Also, my bread had a very tangy taste to it, which I know it’s not from the ascorbic acid. Flavor okay, it was my first time using this though, so I can’t be the best judge yet. I am going to try again, maybe using more of it. However, it is a very small bag and pricey, if I need to use that much of it in order to reach desired results.
