Best Darn Spraygun for the Money!
I bought this gun with some hesitation, as I've seen mixed reviews from others, but I really wanted a good quality gun for relatively small projects. My first project was to paint the metal framework that surrounds the glas on two gas fireplace inserts. I needed to use a high temp paint, and decided to shoot a Cerakote metallic high temp paint with the gun. Now, I grew up using the old style siphon feed guns, but everything I read said that gravity feed HVLP is the way to go. Well, from the moment I opened the box I was impressed. The metal fit and finish is excellent, and the gun has a great balance, even when the cup is filled with 8 oz of paint. One thing to be aware of is to read the brief instruction sheet, as you need to tighten the packing nut with a wrench before first use (they leave it loose so the seal doesn't take a set in storage). I didn't thin the paint, but used it right out of the container as the directions stated, and after a quick adjustment of the gun fan and fluid needle setting knobs, I was in business. The paint flowed really well, and I had no spatter or problems of any kind, and had very little overspray. In no time I had all the frames painted, and they turned out great! Cleanup was a breeze, but I'd recommend removing the cup from the gun first, to ensure that the seal is cleaned before the paint dries... that could cause it to stick if removed later as some have stated. I can't wait to get to my next project, and really look forward to using this gem again! I've done some research, and you can spend many times the price of this gun, but I'm not sure you'd get any better quality in your paint job results.

Bought used.. Missing wrench tool/accesories
After opening the product I purchased, which was used, I noticed there was no wrench or any accessories that usually come with this item in my purchase box. Box was severely deformed and sloppy taped all over. Therefore, I returned the item.

Gets the Job Done!
I bought this gun because I needed a small gun for painting engine parts and other smaller things that don't require a gun with a quart cup. It's a nice looking gun with a smooth chrome plated body and does a decent job of laying on the paint. There are a couple of things that I don't like, one is that the fan adjustment knob turns to freely without any spring tension to hold it in place and I feel that it could easily move from it's adjusted position. The other thing is that I cannot find any larger (or smaller for that matter) replacement fluid tips and needles for this gun. You are basically stuck with the supplied 1.0 mm tip. Personally, I think this gun would benefit from a larger fluid tip...

Not a top of the line professional model, but great for the shade tree mechanic
Nicely made, feels good in your hand, chrome plating is well done. Metal cup a plus. Used 3x. Sprayed a metallic blue, even distribution. Very happy with purchase. Does look strangely similar to the Harbor Freight detail gun, as the casting is identical. The inner workings may be different though. The Harbor Freight gun has a air flow regulator adjustment in the bottom of the handle where the DeVilbiss has a plug. This is made in Taiwan. Just like the Harbor Freight gun. This is not a top of the line professional model, but great for the shade tree mechanic.

Great clean glassy results. A lot of overspray.
I like the ease of use. Very professional results for a budget gun. A lot of overspray though. Overall I liked the gun. It’s 1.3 tip was excellent. It was everything I wanted from a budget gun.
