This is clearly written "how to" guide. It avoids the pitfall of burying itself unnecessarily deep in mathematical formulae, though the subject matter is fundamentally highly mathematical in nature. It is readable and explains things well. The part I needed was entirely contained within a single chapter but that's okay because at that point the book has served its purpose.

I found this book speaks the same language as the guys I work with. It's straight foward and gives great advice when things go wrong. A good book to start with for anyone new in the field who are in over-their-head!

An excellent book to get you introduced to the concepts of Near-Field Antenna Measurements from a practical point of view. It covers many of the aspects, if not all, to give you the entry ticket to understand and start working/researching within Near-Field Measurements from a practical point of view. I should be noted, that images in the book shows signs of not being available as digital images in this IPF (In Print Forever) book and can be quite dark and difficult to see details in. But this should not hold you back from buying the book.
