NOT PURE SILICONE. Caused a reaction on my lower lip and gums. Whatever filler is used was toxic to my mouth. You can tell that it’s filler by bending the straw and seeing white. Pure silicone doesn’t turn white.

UPDATE: The Kitchen Up guy read my three star review and wanted me to be happy with my purchase. Alex not only refunded the cost of my original purchase, he sent me some additional stainless straws. That was very unexpected and quite nice, in my book. I have updated my review -- not because I now like the silicone straws, but because this man went out of his way to make sure I was happy. And since I had already ordered a package of stainless straws too, I now have a lifetime supply - but the next time I see Kitchen Up in my search list, I will know I can order with confidence.~~~~Previous three star review:The stainless straws are great, if a bit narrow in diameter. The silicone straws are borderline fair. They are too floppy to poke down to the bottom of the drink if the ice and liquid shift -- or if you have a habit like my own of stabbing at the last few drops in the bottom corner of a tilted glass. The cleaners are great, too. I've always had a problem with my cups that come with reusable straws for the simple reason that I can't clean (nor see) down in them. All together, two great and one mediocre equal a three star review. The next set I buy will be ALL stainless. I thought about the glass ones, so I could see inside -- but they probably wouldn't last long with me.

I love these! The silicone straws are perfect for my super-thick seed loaded smoothies, which is exactly why I bought them. They are not limp and wiggly, they "stand up" out of my big cups, even my extra tall cup from Starbucks that no standard length straw would work with. They clean out easily with the included brushes if I don't rinse them out right away. I use the metal straws in my Yeti cups for water and like beverages and they are great too! With the metal straws you just have to initially get used to the lip feel because they feel really cold to the touch (unlike a regular straw). This was a great purchase from a seller who cares about customer service, do not hesitate to chose these!

Excellent straws that are light and easy to take anywhere. I bought this set to keep at work, and the stainless steel is perfect for Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts tall beverages, and the silicone straws are great to just bend and store in a bag. I keep them in a zipper bag but I'm looking for a lightweight, washable case to store these as well. I'm thinking of a reusable sandwich bag or baby wipes bag, which might work well. But these are wonderful purchases to fight against the overuse of plastic straws everywhere.

I love this collection of colorful straws. I will be carrying them with me everywhere so I can be part of the solution to the problem of plastic straws filling our oceans. There are some stainless steel straws too. This company really cares about their customer and is very enthusiastic about their product. Order a set of these straws and you will see what I mean. I think these will make good stocking stuffers.

I love these straws! I've used silicone straws in the past, and I could tell as soon as I opened them, they would be more durable. First off, the packaging is great, you can tell the company really puts effort into presentation. At first the smell was a little much, I washed with soap and water and it was still pretty apparent. This was fixed with one run through this dishwasher. I have four kids, so these get used often, and chewed on often, and so far have held up great. I haven't quite had them for two weeks yet, but they are getting some major use already! I love the angle of them as well, just a nice added feature. The angle of the bottom of the straw is great, as well. This makes drinking smoothies and thicker drinks much easier. The carrying case is nice feature, but one I will not utilize. I haven't had to use the cleaners yet, either, but it is nice to know I have them for when my kids, inevitably, leave them in milk or something else. All in all: awesome product! Well worth the purchase!!

After starting the habit of stocking straws at home, I decided that some washable and reusable straws would be a useful kitchen item to have. Especially with how often we drink smoothies. And thankfully, this set of straws has suited my needs well. I have been exclusively using them for regular drinks, not for tumblers. However, these have been perfect for our needs. They are easily washable, and the included brushes are great. The only change I would suggest is the most minor of changes - the brushes have a small open loop at the end, but it is pretty small, so when I am washing the straws out with the brush, it is kind of hard to grip once it's inside the straw. Not something to change the value of the product, but just a minor annoyance.The straws have been easily washed so far, even if I, say, accidentally left it sitting out unwashed overnight after drinking a smoothie and then clean it the next day.... still comes clean! Have only hand-washed so far.

I love these! Took a couple in a baggie and put them in the glove box and used them when we got shakes and they work great! The only downside is i'm used to throwing my cup away after getting a shake at a store and I threw one of them away... =( Very sad about that.. But that's all on me.. LolVery nice quality and they come in a cute carrying pouch too. And love the cleaning things. YES it does say they are all dishwasher safe too! That's always a selling point for me because I don't have time to hand wash things all the time...Shipping was quick. Overall i'd recommend these!
