I purchased this for my daughter’s bows. We changed the theme of her room so that meant the bow holder I had made her with a vintage frame had to go (it was starting to fall apart anyways, after 6 years of every day use). We have a macrame wall hanging in the room, so I thought a macrame piece would be good for her bows as well. I didn’t want to spend too much money because it was being hung on her closet door, hidden from the open room so I thought this one was a good option.It arrived quickly and was packaged well. It came in a cute, drawstring canvas bag with tiny clothes pins for pictures (which I do not need so I threw them in my craft bin). I was a little worried the bows wouldn’t securely stay clipped because the strands of rope are thicker than I expected. But they are holding on just fine.I was able to hang it with two nails (to be extra secure), in a door and it’s holding up well. I was hoping there would be enough room to hang her headbands on the sides of the rod, but there isn’t. So I’m going to get some 3M hooks to hang beside the holder. But the holder is meant for pictures, not bows or headbands so I’m not mad about it.It’s well made and pretty strong so I’m really happy with it. It is a nice touch to the theme of her room.

Unless something is out of this world great, I will probably give it 4 stars max. This, however, is 5 stars. It is a great size and quality & is absolutely adorable. I haven’t hung any pictures yet but when I do I will add an updated photo/review. The tassels are not stringy-looking, which can make some tassels look cheap. The rope is thick, giving it a full and completed look. Love it! Would gift it or buy it again for myself!

This isn’t a sturdy, well-made item. Is it cheap? Yeah, but so is the quality. My kids want a new one now for their new room, but I’m sure I’ll be purchasing elsewhere, here on Amazon though, in hopes I find much better quality.They had it hung for only a short time and swear they didn’t abuse it in any way. Heck, it broke the same day that they first hung the photos! I was there. It just started unraveling and looking much older, so quickly. The clips were of extremely poor quality, too :(.I felt bad, cause I know they wanted it. I told them I would not get mad if they got rough with it and broke it accidentally, but they swear no foul play, and I believe them, as they treat their new room possessions very well, like GOLD, and they also don’t lie. Plus, they honestly DO know that I would NOT get angry with them and would have replaced it, if I had given it to them sooner, and it was within the time frame, but I had it stored, as the room wasn’t completed yet. It’s just an overall bummer.Oh, and when they were at school I walked into the room, and a broken photo clip was on the floor, along with the photo. It just did not hold up well, at all. I figured I’d come review it, in case that may help others avoid this issue.The value, originally, seemed very good, but it didn’t last. It was pretty to start with, but it went downhill far too fast, so shop smart, and good luck to you! I hope if you do buy this product, you get better use of it. Maybe I received a return or a dud??? I’ll never know, but it’s trash now.I hope my review was helpful for you :).

I absolutely love this piece. I re did my entry wall and wanted a piece that held pics but didn't want so many frames because of the lack of space and the look I was going for. This piece really exceeded my expectations, I was afraid it was going to look tacky due to the clothespins but it definitely does not! **not sure why people are complaining about the size of the clothes pins that they are too small. My pix clipped just fine!** I'm so happy i found this piece it is a good gift for a picture lover !

I love this!! This came really quickly, was in a cute canvas bag and came with little wooden clips that look like clothes pins. It was bigger than I thought it was going to be, a great surprise! I would purchase this again and think that this would be a great gift! This is also pretty sturdy, and the pictures stayed on through the night even with my fan going on high. I fit maybe 10 pictures on there, and might have room for maybe one or two smaller photos still, Just got to get creative!

I purchased both the small and large versions, so I could see which fit best on my door. When I first opened both of them, the smaller one was already put together, and all I had to do was hang it up. Loved that!The larger one though comes in pieces. The dowel comes in 2 pieces that you screw together, but as you'll see in the photo, they don't line up perfectly, and the difference in wood patterns is iffy to me. Only a minor thing and barely noticeable though. You then slip each woven strip of rope onto the dowel and then tie the last string that it'll hang up by. Once assembled I'm sure it looks very nice, but I went with the smaller one since it was already put together, the perfect size, and I wasn't a fan of the odd dowel for the larger one.You'll definitely want to use smaller photographs for this product. The largest photo you'll see clipped on it is the regular 4 x 6 while the smaller photo is 3 x 2. Unless you prefer larger photographs.

I love it! It's the perfect size for my wall. I got the larger size. The only reason I knocked off one star is because the wooden bar come in two pieces that screw together and they are two different colors. One is darker than the other. And it's very noticeable. Other than that it's beautiful.

Awesome wall decor! I got the big one and dyed the tassels a dark grayish green. I think it turned out great :) PLENTY of pins for future pictures and cards.
