Dean Markley 2504 Electric Guitar Strings (Nickel Steel)

These strigs are one of its kind. I've been using daddario 9 gauge for a year now. These strigs feels so beefy when compared to that 9 gauge strings I've been using.These are not the typical 10 gauge strings. The high strigs are light. So you can play those pink floyd bends easily. But as you go low, the strings becomes heavy. The low E string is 52 (which is usually found in a 12 gauge set). This makes those metallica riffs sound awesome. So you get the best of both worlds. I can't comment about the durability right now. But for this price, it is worth trying them!Edit: I had originally given them 5 stars. But these strings are a bit harder on your fingers when compared with other strings like D-Addario. Prolonged playing hurts the fingers. So changing my ratings to 3 stars.

The strings are very good, low E is really heavy, great value for money. But the package looked like a victim of distress. Looked like It was under severe pressure. The sealed pack was punctured by the strings due to external pressure, and thus it rusted a bit.

Bottom 3 strings were rusted. High e snapped as I was tuning up the first time from replacement. Sounds like tin.

This one is definitely a good product to buy. Tone is good. Though I prefer Ernie Ball to any other strings, but this one is really worthy to buy.

Good sound for the price

First time i tried DM strings and i see the difference, from now on only DM strings for me. Finally could bend 5 tones high, without fear of string breaking.

It feels awesome.

Nice in this range

I bought 4 packets of these strings for the first time,since the price was good.I installed a set on my les paul,and within just 24 hours,the plain strings had corroded so badly,they had become abrasive like sand paper,posing a risk to my frets.I removed them, and returned all 4 packets to amazon.I'm absolutely appalled at the quality for a so called brand name.I've never had this problem with dunlop strings.

Really very good sound. Can't complain. Will buy these brand again without a doubt

Got these for my les paul, needed something heavier than the standard 46. These are 10-52, and are great if you really like to dig your pick in hard. Does what is says on the tin, light top strings, heavy bottom strings! They feel and sound wonderful!

These are very good guitar strings, the sound is great and are comfortable to play on. Would buy again! 5 stars!
