Works with Dell G7 17 7700 without issues. No overheating or under voltage issues as of yet. Slightly larger than the original but honestly it is negligible. Compared side by side a slight difference but if this was factory shipped I would have never known. One thing I have noticed is the discharge rate it much faster than the OEM. The OEM light ring stays illuminated for minutes after being unplugged, however the aftermarket is 30-40 seconds. The jack seems to fit more securely than the OEM. Great as a backup or for leaving one at the office. It might be the one I received but the cord length is 2 inches shorter, again negligible.

In May, my original charger wouldn't charge, even though I had only been using it for less than a month. So I bought this product at the beginning of June to replace the previous charger. I like the new charger, and it charges quickly. It has been charging fine for the past few months, but just today, it had the same problem as the original charger. Even though I plugged it into an outlet, it doesn't light up with the charging indicator and won't charge my laptop. I don't know what's wrong with it.I contacted customer service today, and the seller said they would send me a new charger. This was a surprise to me. I was working on my final project this morning, but the charger wouldn't charge my laptop anymore. This made me feel anxious at that time. However, Amazon's customer service and seller were very patient and friendly. I am very grateful for their help.

I got this adapter charger for my Dell Precision 7710. I use my laptop more like a desktop computer, it sits on my height-adjustable desk most of the time and the original adapter charger is concealed underneath. I wanted to have a second charger for the times I travel or when I move the laptop in another room, so I don't have to mess with the wire setup under the desk. It's also good to have a spare. So far it works great!

TLDR; Product shipped quickly and arrived intact. It fit my Dell Precision M6800 perfectly. Even came with OEM product sticker. (my original charger that I needed to replace didn't have oem sticker.)My dell Precision M6800 has been working as a gaming laptop for the past 3 years for me ever since it came into my possession. Maybe a year ago when ever it started running more intense games the computer started acting like it was running on battery mode. The screen would dim the games would lag even though they were working just a minute or two before. Over the past few months it got worse and worse. Eventually it was to the point that opening firefox would cause it to think it was charging/not charging very rapidly. I couldn't use the laptop for much at that point. Taking out the battery corrected this to an extent... But then The computer would just turn off when I presume the game pushed the laptops electric needs past what the original charger I had could supply. hopped online looked up a new battery and charger for the laptop. Done deal. Now my Laptop is running like new all thanks to this charger.

If you actually need a 240W power adapter for your computer DO NOT buy this. The adapter I received was not 240W rated. I’m only thankful I realized before the return window closed.I was looking for a 240W adapter for my Alienware M15 which ships with one due to its high power requirements. This adapter was not rated for the same wattage so it could only barely keep my laptop running in a low power mode (so it ran about as fast as a pocket calculator) and was somehow completely incapable of charging the battery whatsoever.DO NOT BUY. I bought the much more expensive 240W adapter straight from Dell which looks to be the real deal. I wouldn’t trust any of these ~$60 “240W” adapters on Amazon. They all seem to be variations on the same scam.

Perfect replacement for a worn out charger

The OEM charger for my Alienware laptop quit working and I needed to replace it. I purchased this instead of buying from Dell 4 months ago.Well, unfortunately, the charger began to come apart from the blue LED plug portion that plugs into the laptop. Unsure of the warranty, if any, I contacted the seller with my issue. I was absolutely amazed at how quickly they responded to me, and how they resolved the issue. They immediately offered a replacement and sent it next day.I am so incredibly happy with the purchase, and with the seller. This has been an absolutely wonderful experience with the seller. If you need a replacement charger, I highly suggest this product and seller.

I couldn’t find a genuine part so I bought this one after checking the reviews and thinking they seemed positive. The only concern I have is that the adapter is always warm. No matter if your laptop is off or if you unplug your laptop from it and leave the adapter connected to the wall. Feels like a fire hazard or cheaply put together.
