DC COMICS Multiverse AQUAMAN MERA Figure

DC Comics Extended Film Universe continues to do a phenomenal job as it brings forward its sixth epic film in Aquaman. All this as the DC Comics Multiverse action figures bring forth another awesome collection of action figures.Mera takes looks like she appears from this film from her meeting Aquaman outside the bar and throughout the film. Justice League action figures did release Mera that looks like this one but with some cosmetic changes. The previous figure had a green Xebel armor that’s different from the one in the Aquaman movie. This figure is more streamlined and has a turquoise blue color which conflicts with the movie’s green color, but I guess when it's underwater it has a more bluish look. The other most obvious change is the head. The previous Mera had a downcast look this one has a more detailed look and with lighter skin complexion. I guess it looks more like the actual actress. The hair also has s a more vibrant red hair color that is like the Aquaman movie. The figure stands at 6.50 inches and has the same DC Multiverse articulation in that you can move the legs, ankle, wrist, ab crunch, knees, hands, and arms. You can move the head, but it’s so tricky that I advise against it. Included is a spear that can fit in either open hands, though she never used it in this movie. Included also is an extra set of hands that are a recreation of her aqua-kinetic blasts that are a little over two inches long. As well as the Build-A-Figure Trench Warrior arms.A great figure that is an improvement over the previous figure in that it's different from the previous and looks a little better.

What I really liked about this figure was the price!!! It was under $10.00 Some of these figures can get as high as $40.00. I love the art work & it does look a lot like Amber Heard. Even the breasts look fairly legit!!!The water accessories are easy to switch out look pretty cool. They are small so be careful around lil ones.

The metallic costume nice.paint better than previous one.Sculpt is still lacking and hair sculpt could be much better. For same price can get Barbie version much better if mera fan.

When they make figures like these they have to understand that if someone wants to stand them up. Because some of these skinny type figures dont stand very well at all.

The Queen of Atlantis from Mattel. Collectors know of Mattel's track history but this figure from this set alone actually looks very good. Very good articulation, paint apps and details are amazing, and no slight towards Mattel but they really nailed it here. Alone, Mira is a great looking figure but when placed in the entire set they compliment each other along side Aquaman. I give her a 9.5 out of 10.
