Finally, HEAT!
If you haven't eaten in three days, and some gives you a bologna sandwich, it will probably be the best sandwich you have ever eaten. Such is probably the case with my heater. My floor furnace went out and I haven't had heat for 9 days. Pluggged in the heater and the heat was absolutely WONDERFUL. The heater was priced well. What I didn't know was the price of running a 220 outlet for the heater; $1500! I really like the heater, but with no experience with this type of heater I do not know what is "normal". I am using the heater inside and you could not hear the TV over it. It sounds as if a bearing is bad in the fan. The instructions on how to run the fan are absolutely horrible. Almost non-existent. The electrician couldn't figure it out and we tried utube for a video. No luck. Only by luck did I get heat. For the price I think the heater is better than average. I just wish I knew what is acceptable with the noise level. I would recommend the heater much like I would recommend a bologna sandwich if you haven't eaten in 3 days. Finally, it states that this heater could heat up to 700 sq feet. That seems to be an accurate estimate. A powerful, good looking, little heater.

Was wanting the grill type that hangs on the ceiling but amazon would not ship as I’m in Alaska and was to big so I settled on this one. I just got it hooked up and very happy with it, also hangs on the ceiling, quiet, blows air hard, remote, heats my building...

This might shock you!
When I stepped out of my shower, I hated getting frozen in my bathroom in the winter. Not anymore. The only hassle was running 220 service in my tight crawl space but I got it done! The remote removes any fear of turning it off with wet hands.

Good little heater for a great price
Easy to install. I actually had the hardwired version of this same exact heater (under a different brand name) installed in my garage for several years. That one finally died, probably from too much dust ingestion in the fan (the coils actually overheated when the fan stopped running and the over-temp safety switch didn't kick in).The new replacement had a 220v 3-prong outlet cord preinstalled in it. This thing does a good job of maintaining a moderate temperature in my uninsulated 550 sf garage with a 12 ft ceiling. I mounted it on the wall about 3 feet below the ceiling. Outside temp can be in the 20s and I set this heater to around 55° F. Within a couple hours the garage is warm enough to work in. I've left this heater running all day, everyday, for most of the winter season and only turned it off at night when I'm sleeping. I had little to no noticeable increase in my electric bill. It is a little loud, so I probably would not recommend it for inside the house but it's great for a work area like a garage.

DAHTEC Electric Heater
Received heater as scheduled. Had to get a heater for the garage fast as the gas heater stopped working and we were leaving town, It keep the garage at 55 degrees. Only feature that I would change would be to use a more standard plug.

Does exactly what it needs to do!
Great heater. Have a very large garage and increases the temperature in the garage by a couple of degrees per hour.
