While I am not impressed with some of the recipes, this book is a product of it's time.I do love some of the photos [they are all in black & white] of my old stomping groundsin New Mexico. The seller was prompt.

When I moved to the South East corner of New Mexico, I had no prior experience with cooking food from that region. After an online search I ordered this book.Perfect learning book! Recipes are easy to read, contain ingredients you may already have on hand, and are flavorful, not overly spicy. Armadillo Eggs (stuffed and breaded jalapeno peppers) are a favorite and loved by my family!

What I expected

Not exactly what I was looking for, but found some good recipes. I was looking for a cookbook with a little more local flavor.

I really enjoyed this book. I bought it as a gift, and had to copy some recipes before I gave it away.

It's a nice book I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it. There are a lot of duplicate recipes by different chefs or restaurants. I like the fact that many recipes seem authentic

I am very pleased with this cookbook. Many great recipes using our wonderful New Mexico green and red chilis. I purchased three books and gave two away as gifts and my friends were very pleased also.
