This is a great costume, very detailed it looks realistic. There are a few things to do when you get the costume, the costume, of course, is folded to fit into the box and into the packaging so I strongly recommend getting a small ball from the dollar general or something and putting the mask and hat on that to help reform to the shape of a head, the mask is big for a child.. but after watching a few movies, I do believe the mask are big for adults as well like adults, so it’s true to the custom I believe? So I bought the costume bigger hoping my son could grow into it. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to grow to much more before he won’t be able to wear it. I think we could make some adjustments so that he could for a little bit longer. And then my son is very small for his age and he fit a medium and it looks perfect and he’s able to tuck in the top like you’re supposed to barely. We are also going to add I believe Velcro strip for the hat, so that it stays on properly and another Velcro strap for the bottom of the back, just so that it stays on properly, tucking in, seems to work for the most part, but as he grows bigger, that will need to be there. The costume is great, and the little fixes that I want to make for adjustments or just extra fixes that will help it fit better for my son while he plays in it and grows. The costume was very easy to put on very easy to understand, and he fit it very well. Like I said, order bigger at least by a size he should fit a small easily and probably would have but it would’ve been a stretch and he fits the medium incredibly well. I was hoping it would be a little bigger so that he could grow into it more. But the costume was very detailed. It looks incredibly realistic and otherwise came completely intact. The delivery guy was really awesome and could see my sons excitement and then handed over the box and it was an Amazon delivery vehicle so it was great. The gentleman that delivered It was really really nice. I should say he was fantastic. It was completely obvious that my son was over the moon about the package and the gentleman was incredibly kind. Very nice in handing it to him and super nice. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with the costume and my son was excited and very happy with it. He’s a little frustrated with the mask and the hat but again we’re going to put it on a ball to help get it to face shape. Popping the seams in the hat did help a little bit with making it balance a little better, so put your hand up into the hat and make sure the seams are popped out so that you can see them. Otherwise you might not realize it needs that to help fit on there heads. Hope this helped

This costume is a super value! It is durable enough to stand up to a full day in school, after school activities, and a full evening of trick or treating. It is great looking and fit well. I did have to reshape the mask and trim it a little for a better fit, but that was easy.

It was pretty raggedy. Not good quality. Stinky.

This is probably the best costume I have ever bought for my child. It's well made but also has some really nice details that make it look like samurai armor - from the ties under the arms to the various layers that make it look like a set of armor when he moves (instead of, say, sewing everything into one piece that moves as one piece). Make sure to buy it a few days early because the helmet arrives folded up and will need to be re-formed.

My 8 year old son loves this costume! Very well done - expensive but worth it. Look great and fits perfectly.Note the swords do not come with it and must be purchased separately.

The costume itself is outstanding - quality material built to last far beyond one night. Helmet soft but effective. The mask was a bit to be desired. We left the mask at home in favor if samurai face paint, which made the costume outstanding.

Great detail for a kid's Halloween costume. Just forget the helmet and mask. They are horrible looking as is the sections around the shins and forearms, cheap vinyl print. I would suggest sewing over them or simply cutting them off and replacing the vinyl with fabric. The same with the mask and helmet. Buy a cheap kabuki or one mask online and add it to compliment this one. It is foam and easily noticed as a costume but for the price I was very happy. We used it for a Renaissance Faire. He got more compliments than I did with my very authentic, albeit unarmored, Samurai outfit. Mine was not a costume. I purchased real clothing pieces and even made my own Waraji (samurai rope sandals.) Granted he is much cuter than I am. But I was very very pleasantly surprised for the price. My son is 6 and average height and average build for his size. We ordered the large and it fit wonderfully. A tiny bit long in the legs and arms but an easy fix. I would order larger by one size to ensure the outer armor fits.

Well made. Looks impressive for a kids costume. My 8 year old loves it so much.
