Works well.
My Samsung S 21 Phone would tell me it had moisture or debri in in the charging port everytime I plugged it in. I changed charing cords several times and the same message popped up. I could only charge my phone wirelessly. I struggled with this problem for 2 months until I found this product. I put 2 applications of this in the charging port and got a new charging cable and it is now fixed. Also used it for my trucks tail light. This stuff works!

This works very well for cleaning corrosion of connector contacts and battery contacts.
A little bit of this goes a very long way. People often use way too much of it. While it is a small bottle, it goes a long way. The images show a flash trigger of mine that had batteries left in it, which had leaked. The contacts of the battery holder were a bit corroded to the point where new batteries would not make the unit operable until the contacts were de-oxidized. Removing as much of the flakey battery salt and corrosion first will save time and material later. The brush in the cap is perfectly adequate for direct application of this on the battery contacts. Deoxit does very well for cleaning up various small connectors on CNC equipment and just about anything else these days with lower voltages, or any kind of signal transmission. It is formulated to actually deoxidize metal surface contacts. Use with a degree of caution as Deoxit will also soften Phenolic plastics and should never be used on "slide pots" unless you can take them apart and just apply the Deoxit to the metal slide contacts only.Be aware too that the liquid is conductive when wet, so one wants to use a great deal of care if one is cleaning the battery contacts of any Lithium batteries, and any circuit board connections should only be done with the circuits de-energized and allowed time to dry. A tiny amount can be applied with the brush and then you can use a cotton swab to spread the Deoxit over a larger area of a flat battery terminal contact as an example. The final image shows the Flash Trigger operational again after the application of Deoxit and some careful scraping with a toothpick.

It works
Good for cleaning up contacts on game slots and cartridge pins, also worked for cleaning contacts on a cell phones volume control to MOBO.

It just works.
This stuff is awesome! I couldn’t charge my iPhone because the lightning port was so badly filled with every sort of filth and oxidation. A thorough scrubbing with this stuff after a brushing with a micro bottle brush set me straight. I thought I was going to have to buy a new phone, but it’s like new now. Thanks!

Did not work. Try a cleaning tool first
My USB-C port of my Samsung Galaxy had an intermittent connection, like something was on the contacts. I had used it near water so I was thinking maybe some oxidation. I used this stuff twice and it didn't help. I got a circular tool with various little rubber and brush tips to clean the port physically, and that did the trick. So this was a waste. Try the cleaning tool first.

Restored old bed remotes in just a few minutes
We have a pair of 25 year old adjustable beds in a guest room. The remotes worked ... sometimes, or not at all. Replacements could not be found. While searching for ways to “fix” the remotes I came across a posting that mentioned cleaning the contacts. I searched for what people used to clean contacts - and came across this product. IT WORKS GREAT!!I removed the two screws that held the remote together and opened it up to find a rubbery keypad and a circuit board.I “painted” a little Deoxit on the gold contacts, let it sit for a few seconds, and then wiped it off with a tissue; there was a smudge of black residue from each contact on the tissue.I repeated the procedure for the brown contacts that are attached under the keypad. The reassembled remote works like new!
