Excellent
A Very Good Book

Good Introduction to a Complex Topic
While reading this won't qualify you to take the CRM exam it's certainly a great introductory book for managers, beginning RMs, or anyone stuck trying to figure out how to best handle the practical and legal aspects of corporate records. The "For Dummies" books can be hit or miss -- this one is a definite hit.

Books are important to have.
What I like about the product is that it is really a great way to learn how the subject works and it can give helpful tips.

Old technology discussed, but still has useful and practical ides.
It’s badly out-dated, technology-wise, but it provides plenty of things to think about for a new records manager taking over a neglected program. Some things about managing an organization’s record are the same, regardless of the tech available.

Just what I expected
Just what I expected from a "Dummies" book. Clear, concise, easy to understand text, good diagrams, illustrations. Excellent advice. Very excellent information on keeping electronic records. Thank you, Mr. Richardson, I don't feel like such a "dummy" any more when it come to record management.
