Good But Over My Head
It's a thin book that's geared more for veteran coaches than athletes, or newcomers like I am. It might be great if you're a coach. I don't know, haven't enough knowledge. I was looking for a guide to the sport that would help with training programs, technique, etc. It does have that but not in a user-friendly format. It's really too advanced for me so if I knew more I might rate it higher.

The Sport of Olympic-Style Weightlifting, Training for the Connoisseur
This book has a lot of great information. Optimal body lengths and how to adjust training if parts of the body are not these optimal lengths. Also the different hormonal responses to training was very interesting. Lots of other great info. Deffinitely a good resource to have in interested in training in weightlifting.

Really Good Summary of a GREAT SPORT
This book is a great promotion of a really great sport. Super quickness, extreme flexibility, outstanding balance, and of course superb strength are required of Olympic-style weightlifting champions.

no big deal
if you are the very beginner in weightlifting- maybe- except the author goes into technicality that has no bearing for the beginner. For the advanced it's just useless...
