One of the best books I've ever bought. They should start teaching this in history class. Lots of knowledge and photos. Great buy.

The Belt, that the book is based on has the best description and the history of the most sought after belts of ALL TIME? Bar None

The book seems to be a bit pricey, but it is worth every penny. TONS of photos from the Belts creation, the name plates, the WCW cast copy, which wrestlers have copies of the belt, and it even mentions the small dent in the main plate in WCW. Lovely book.. just lovely. So many photos, and information about this belt. Gonna read this, again and again.

This is a great look into the history of one of the greatest Wrestling belt ever. The pictures and stories are amazing. A must have for any belt collected as the author really does his homework. Any unanswered questions (as to where the belt has been for the last 15 years) is no fault of the author as the current owner wishes to remain anonymous. I assume to prevent the WWE from attempting to claim it as their property?

Amazing book! Really goes into detail the history of the big gold belt and the process it went through to be remade. It even talks about tracking down the pieces of the belt and restoring it. Highly recomend!

Awesome book, very well written, I have all of Dick Bourne’s books and hope there are more to come!

Been reading it and am amazed at the details in this book. Before i spent 35 on it i debated that being too much but any fan of this belt and the history in wrestling should buy this book. You'll thank me later.

Para mí cumpleaños me regalé justamente una replica del Big Gold, pues se convirtió en mi título favorito cuando lo veía en la WCW/WWF/WWE. Ignoraba que también había sido la presea máxima de la NWA, ignoraba el significado o el por qué de tantos adornos y texturas, así como también desconocia los motivos por los que empezó a usarse en WCW y en WWE hasta que lo retiraron de las pantallas. Todo ello lo descubrí gracias a este libro.

A must read for any true professional wrestling fan. This book is detailed in so many ways and although I thought I knew all there is to know about this particular belt, I still managed to learn a few more tid bits and facts.. I highly recommend this for any one who followed The NWA/WCW back in the day..The book arrived less than a week after ordering it and was in perfect condition. I logged back in this morning just to write this review and order the "Ten Pounds Of Gold" next!!

Would've liked a coffee table sized offering, seeing as some of the photos should be wall posters. Too much information. It's great.
