I purchased one for myself for the obvious reason - sore butt after riding a few hours. But, before I had a chance to use it my husband was invited on a 4 day motorcycle trip. He was the only man out of the four without a sore butt after each day of riding! Added bonus: no sweaty butt. Therefore, we purchased a second and used them on our trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Worked beautifully. I highly recommend this product.

I got this a couple of weeks back and it does exactly what I want it to. It extends my riding time without giving me swamp ass. I just bought a used bike with a corbin seat that makes me feel like I'm riding on top of a well shaped piece of granite. The cushion was very spongy for the first week or so then flattened out a bit. I actually like it a lot better now that is broken in because it doesn't shift around when I move in the seat so much an the height difference went back to nearly normal(the half inch to one inch difference was quite noticeable especially when shifting in seat). Bear in mind I'm 24 so I'm so I don't have arthritis or anything like that yet so if you are looking for and extreme cushion this may not solve all your back pain problems. For the price it gets the job done and doesn't slip around. Just be prepared for the eventual break in. It will lose some of its squish after awhile but it still works pretty good for me and I've had it about a month and ridden on it for about a thousand miles. Not to mention I've let my buddy who weighs a bit above 380 ride it a few times. FYI the loss in sponginess happened before he rode my bike, his weight didn't seem to affect it all that much.

Been riding for 5 decades, still do about 15k mi per yr on BMWs. Bought for my light use bike at our mtn home. It says “ gel”, I’m sorry But I cannot tell if there is any or Not ?I’ve had gel pads from 5 manufactures AND I’m going back TO THE ONE I NOW KNOW CANNOT BE BEAT - BORN BEHIND BARZ. PERIOD. I’m 6’ 200#, in good shape so size and wt I’m pretty normal. Numerous comments here that it’s too Thin, I SECOND THAT, Please SHOW ME THE MEAT ! ! ! Foldability is nice. There is not enough in this “pad “ for a 200# man to gain any real benefit after a 1 hr ride. Actually 2 stars more accurate to my mind. A visit to their AMZN store did not reveal anymore offerings. Going back to my ole standby…Born Behind Barz.

I think this gel-pad cushion is perfect for comfort. I purchased it for my first 1,350mile motorcycle vacation. I only used it when my butt got numb and painful[after a few hundred miles on the motorcycle], and it provided me with so much 'ahhhhh' relief, that I found I could ride for another 2 hours. Keep in mind that I am 5'2 and 115#; I am not so sure a 6' 300# person would get the same benefits. In any case, I highly recommend this skwoosh gel-pad cushion to anyone who likes to ride long distances and hates being interrupted by a sore butt!

Good product, but on long rides as a passenger on a harley trike, it puts pressure causing pain in my hips. I have nerve problems so not sure it's the seats fault though.

I installed this on my Triumph Tiger seat, and feel like this pad will extend my travel comfort by 100%. No more hot spot on trips so far.

I have a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650. The seat is absolutely terrible as far as comfort goes. After 40 minutes...serious pain. So rather than buy a $450 custom seat, I did some research and decided to give this Skwoosh a try. Ordered it, and it arrived fast. Well packaged, great info brochure and care instructions. I read it all carefully. I tried the pad out, and it was great. I immediately felt a difference in comfort. And when I got the chance to try it in action, it performed as promised. I was able to ride much longer before discomfort started up. But after a few weeks, I noticed that my back side was starting to hurt again. An examination of the Skwoosh showed that the gel pads withing the mesh pockets were somehow bunching up. I could not get the gel pads to lay flat within the mesh shell. Per the usage instructions (followed to the letter) I made sure I had no items like a wallet or comb etc in my back pockets. I massaged the gel pads back into place after each ride. But at some point I could feel that the pads were bunched up and I could not get them back into shape. I sent an email to the seller, and they responded super fast with an offer of a replacement in exchange for the original back (they even paid the postage). I got my new replacement, and tried it out. Aaaahhhhh....that was more like it. But....within a few weeks the same thing happened. The gel pads are all bunched up and it's just not working anymore. I sent another request to the seller, but so far no response. I am not a person that abuses my possessions. I take care of my things and follow instructions. If this item worked as advertised, I would give it 4 stars. But sadly, it just doesn't last. I can't recommend it.

Dislike the fit...the attaching strap is to short and holds it very far back on the seat. To find the sitting on position you need to stand up a little and reach between your legs and pull it forward and sit down. Hope you get it right position each time
