Design seems a little bit improved over original latch that broke. Installation was easy, after watching a video. There is a trick on how to hold the spring in place during the installation.Working well, we will see about durability, but if it lasts another 15 years ... or as long as the car lasts ...

Easy install. Perfect fit.Can’t comment on longevity since it’s only been on the car for about a month but (at time of purchase) seems to be OEM quality.

This would have been a 3 minute job at the most, but unfortunately they bored the second pin hole smaller than the first so the pin wouldn't go through. I had to bore out the second hole and after that it went together easily. Just make sure you insert one end of the spring through the hole in the latch and the other end facing up into the lid or it won't work. This one works well and the catch works perfectly. Very pleased!

My latch broke and it was annoying driving around with the arm rest lifting up. This latch works great and feels solid. Just like others have mention one of the holes is smaller so the pin was not able to slide in. I took my drill and used a drill bit to carefully enlarge the hole and it worked!

This latch was a great find. There are YouTube videos showing the best way to install, and it's just as easy as it looks. Now it works PERFECTLY! No more lid needing to be taped down, or else it flies open.So glad they sell these!

The handle fit well and latched properly and seemed just like the original. After only 2 and half months the latch broke, the plastic cracked near the swivel axis.
