Tramontina800109 Pro Line 36 Dinner Knives Commercial Grade Stainless Steel, Silver

We do a lot if entertaining, and for certain events, I prefer actual "silverware" over plastic utensils, so we ordered 144 knives, forks and spoons, which we use for an annual holiday party for 125 people. While they won't be mistaken for fine silverware, they are well made (they don't bend easily) and they are certainly more "elegant" than plastic. Overall, I am very pleased with them. Sure, you have to wash them, but in the long run--if you do a lot of entertaining-- they actually save you money. I always lose a few at every party (they mistakenly end up in the garbage), so I will occasionally order extra packages.

I've had these for a couple weeks at the time of this review, and they seem just fine. I feel weird giving 5 stars to mundane stuff like this, but hey...They haven't rusted, dinged, dented, nicked, or been used to stab me yet. Those are all good things.They spread butter, jelly, jam, preserves, peanut butter, cream cheese, mayo, and whatever else just as well as you'd expect.They can even cut some things.I think I paid about 66 cents per knife, with shipping, and I'd say they're worth it.

Great cutlery for a restaurant. People steal and lost silverware so this is good quality at the right price point! Would buy again!

They are a good replacement for plastic knives. Cheap so you don't mind losing a few. The spoons from the same line are great, forks not so much. I wish the set was just a little higher quality; I'd happily pay a bit more.

So I bought these hoping that the 1 star reviews were just a fluke. Unfortunately I was wrong. Not only did the knives arrive opened and spread out in the box that they were sent in, but the were covered with spots that won’t come off and scuff marks from all the knives moving around in an opened package. I run a restaurant and these cannot be used. I would say maybe a couple could be used that aren’t too bad but this is a garbage product. If you’re looking for something at home that you don’t care about then these are for you. I can’t believe amazing sells this product?

The knives pitted after the very first wash. Not a good product.

Bought these for company Christmas dinner with intent to use at future work functions. Highly recommend. Good quality for reasonable price. Better (nicer) alternative to plastic or other "silverware". Does not feel cheap. Very satisfied.

These knives are nothing fancy, but in the restaurant business they hold up. The sleek design of the handles make for easy handling and easy clean up.

Scuffed, pitted and black spots all over them- will not wash off. Will be returned.
