Q: The packaging says once opened to store in the fridge and use within 14 days. Is that correct as it’s a short use by date for suck a big bag

Obviously I would NEVER overrule "use by" guidance so I can only tell you my experience. I bought 2 pkts at the beginning of September, never saw the "use by" info, have not kept in refrigerator, have just started on the 2nd pkt and my 10 yr old is currently down the park with our dog walker (I've just had a knee replacement so can't walk far) tearing round like a puppy with her chums. She loves her daily "sausage2, the only difference being that I got liver rather than smoked chicken. Oh, and her bowels are perfectly healthy. I'm old school - if it looks OK, smells OK and tastes OK then it is OK!
