So far, so good. The initial quality seemed really good. Nice sized, appropriately lenghted wires. Fitment was perfect, looks super clean on my BMW. Beautiful, bright white light completely engulfs the plate. My only concern is whether or not the housing is sealed and water proof , as that is often times a contributing factor in LED failure /deterioration. If it holds us, easily a perfect 5/5Edit- After 2 consecutive days of raining I found that the housing is NOT waterproof and will allow moisture in. Also, it is made out of metal that rusts. I plan on covering the whole unit in flex seal, then painting it. That should solve the water/rust concerns .

Our Hyundai Elantra and Santa Fe Sport have horrible back up lights. I've tried the highly advertised LED replacement bulbs and they were all worse than the OEM. The IJDMTOY Angle light actually work! Of course this light doesn't put out a strong beam like a fog or driving light but it is enough for our needs and it is barely noticeable bolted to the license plate. A previous poster commented on rust. The only area on mine that shows rust is the end screws and I believe stainless steel replacements will cure that.Update:My bad. The rust is from the license plate bolts not the LED assembly.

This light is very bright. I read other reviews about problems with rust and water in the light and I can see their point. The end caps are not sealed and there are gaps between the caps and the lens. I corrected this by first spraying some paint on the metal caps and mounting brackets and then sealing the caps to the lens and body with silicone. I do not expect any water problems. The wires were a little short so I had to extend them but that will depend on your application.

I haven't had this for long enough to say anything about its durability, but it throws a lot of light out behind the car. I have a Grand Marquis, so installation was super easy, routing the wires through the license plate lamp housing and splicing in right there to the exposed harness. I'll have to see how it hold up through the Michigan weather, but I know what's behind me now better than with just the factory lights.

the product (lite) is very well made, albeit smaller than I expected but in retrospect it is just as portrayed. the problem I have, there are NO instructions on how or where to connect the wires. Nor can I tell if they will be long enough, since at least one must go to a reverse light source, I am not sure they are long enough. And since the wires will be exposed to sharp metal edges, I would expect them to have a protective sleeve.I haven't connected it yet as I don't know where to hook them up or which wire goes where. the last thing I waNt to do is connect them incorrectly.

Just bought my second set of these lights. They really illuminate the license plate. Needed this to fix broken plate lights and even worked in my brake high mount light with a little maneuvering.

Lights arrived in time, installed proffesionally and boy these lights are bright! the same way you see it in the pictures and the video on youtube. For the price i wasnt expecting less, its not that cheap. My only complaint is on the security of the product, the only "safety" objects are the screws on the license plate that can be easly removed by anyone! other than that, great product from JDM.
