Looks REALLY cool, is very light, & seems very strong, but riding it is painful even with the thickest padded bikes shorts
This is pretty much for display only, or fully out of the saddle riding, & I haven't found the scenario where it would be a good idea the ride on. It looks really cool & the carbon fiber is real & laid up surprisingly well. It is very light & seems very strong, but I haven't really tested out any seat time on it yet

Great Buy for $80!
Let me Start by saying this. I had my eye on this item for a while, but I left it sitting in my wishlist until someone else wrote a product review. After reading the review the last customer wrote I purchased it immediately. The saddle arrived today and I was almost as excited to write the review as I was to clamp it on my seat post and ride. Being that its only 36 degrees and raining here in Wisconsin I only put about ten miles in before writing this. As far as comfort goes, it's not a piece of memory foam its a paper thin piece of carbon fiber. If you don't have a quality pair of shorts get ready for some monkey butt, but that goes for any full carbon saddle. I found the seat to flex nicely and after a few trim tweaks I think it's quite comfortable in fact. The twin tail I imagine is not entirely cosmetic but mostly for certain! Its a sexy look and ill admit that's most of the reason I purchased it. The other big reason I went with this is its ONLY $80! Now Mr. Jones goes on in his review to recommend the Selle Italia SLR because its padded, has titanium rails; and is only 20 grams heavier. Well let me say I don't know Mr. Jones or his experience as a rider. I do know this. The first saddle in the Selle Italia SLR line with titanium rails is the SLR TT (or TITANIUM TUBE). It does have titanium rails not oval carbon rails and it is padded, but its also only 30% carbon fiber, its closer to 2 ounces heavier, not to mention its going to run you about $200.00 give or take a few. This being said the Selle Italia SLR full carbon saddle that is comparable to this saddle here is the TEKNO model and that's going to set you back around $400-$500! Is this saddle of lesser quality? OF COURSE! If you can spare a few hundred bones then by all means get the brand name saddle. This thing is Sexy and inexpensive, if you don't like it you are at most out $80. I would however say if you do not have trim adjustment capabilities on your seat post the rails have the saddle sitting at a pretty aggressive angle. Other than that no complaints from me. RIDE SAFE AND BE HAPPY.

Ok but not great
The seat was just about what was expected. It was not comfortable but that was not necessarily the seats fault. Your "seat" bones have to fit the contour in order to be comfortable. This particular seat is VERY narrow. Just didn't work out. Also the seat is not forgiving. It does not flex like other carbon seats do. The twin tail is purely cosmetic. The carbon weave mostly looked great. It did have some imperfections in the weave but nothing drastic. Would I recommend it? No. Stick to a Selle Italia SLR at just 20 grams heavier. Its padded and has titanium rails instead of these oval carbon ones.

unbelievable!
I bought for my kid. I didn't believe when he said this hard thing was comfortable until a day I test myself.

Great Seat!!
Im loving mine! Wife got it for me on Xmas. I have it mounted on an oldschool specialized rockhopper. Ive already gave it a few bashings out on my local trails and it has held up so far. Comfort wise, well there's no padding obviously and I didnt buy it to be comfortable, I have padded shorts for that so that wasn't even a problem. For the weight weenies and the blinged out carbon clad mountain bikers out there I highly recommend this seat!
