We now use jaggery (gud) instead of sugar most of the time. Since jaggery comes in lumps it was very difficult to use it without first grinding it to powder. With this product now, we just use it straight from the container. Though the texture is not as good as refined sugar, it is good enough to sprinkle it on food or drinks.

Good product. A very good substitute for white sugar. Only con is delivery charge. I think, delivery charge should be waived off if one buy more than a per decide amount.

PACKAGING IS VERY GOOD AND TASTE IS ALSO GOOD BUT NOT GOOD AS RAW JAGGERY. I LOVE JAGGERY SO MUCH.NOW THIS DAYS GOOD QUALITY JAGGERY IS NOT AVAILABLE IN LOCAL STORES.PREVIOUSLY I USED TO TAKE RAW JAGGERY IN MY NATIVE VILLAGE BUT THOSE DAYS ARE GONE.HAVING A DOUBT WHETHER THIS BRAND IS MIXING EDIBLE SODA WITH RAW JAGGERY TO MAKE IT POWDER OR NOT.PURITY IS UNDER DOUBT.

Bought this as was running out of jaggery - found some good reviews and wanted to try something different. The product is not bad - the powder is very fine - but at times one gets a doubt if the manufacturer has mixed sand as it gets a bit crunchy.. Unfortunately being an edible product - you buy it - you keep it..So far have used this in tea or where you would boil water like curries and so on.. but I would not recommend this for mixing in flour based products like Parathas or Rotis.. As the powder does not do justice to the food.. I would rather find some real gud block for that - unfortunately getting good quality gud in a country like India that is a sugar producing country - is becoming a rarity

I have been buying this product from Amazon regularly, but this time when the product arrived the seal was broken and the product also tastes different giving rise to doubts about tampering. Did not return the product as i had already opened and difficult to prove that the seal was broken when i opened.

I always order this product and I m always happy with quality....but this time the quality is so bad....all 3 packets...its small pieces of gur with foul smell..not even powdered....totally disappointed

Good quantity, highly healthy than the refined, processed sugar that has no nutrients left but plain unhealthy sugar.Used with milk shakes, tea, lemonade, desert, etc. etc. It is pure, extremely tasty, very good quantity, it simply dissolves as soon as you put in the mouth. It is fantastic jaggery.

for about 2 months fine. But then it got solid, scraping is difficult. Any idea how to avoid solidification. This is winter. Should have been ideal for it to remain as powder
