My 6 year old son LOVES these shoes. I bought them as a surprise for the coming school year. I have a feeling that I MIGHT get a call from school to bring him other shoes if he starts playing with the lights in class but we've had a talk and I can also not charge the USB PORT before sending him to school. We get compliments everywhere we go. Big hit on the 4th of July fireworks display as he had them set to red white and blue. They have so many color combinations and patterns and you can have one shoe lighting up 3 different colors amd the other one lighting up 2 totally different colors! They're so fun! Everyone asks where we got them and are shocked at how little we paid for these. Adults ask me if they can get them in adult size! He even runs around the house wearing just shorts and his shoes! They're holding up remarkably well. He's only stepped in s few puddles and he knows how to turn them off and on. The switch inside the shoes have a place to tick in the controller, which is a button you toggle through to find your colors. If you hold innyhe button they completely stop which is going to be good for school. I imagine if we go to football games this fall he can light them up to our local team colors as well!Even without the lights they're very cool looking shoes and the photos don't do them justice. If the light hits them right the body of the shoes are iridescent as well!You can go to a shoe store and get overpriced kids shoes that light up red when you take a step OR you can spend much less on USB chargeable iridescent shoes with patterns of colors and speeds. I recommend these for any child wanting something different, comfortable and decently priced. Yes, we had to wait a bit longer for them to arrive from China but they're well made and fantastic. Just be gentle charging them and make sure to tuck the button and USB port inside the shoes and there should be no problems!

Kept receiving the wrong size however the shoe is very "cool" as my first grader pout it, but she;s unable to wear all day.

The size is somewhat smaller than other shoes that we have tried so far. So you might wanna get 1 size larger than what you usually buy. Light are beautiful. So many colors and functions. My daughter is in love with these shoes. When she wears them, everybody is looking at her- kids, adults. These are her favorite till now.The first thing she said when she saw the lights- "Are these for Christmas decoration, mommy?"

good to go with the school colors which are green and gold and worn every friday.

You will get a lot of parents asking you where you bought these shoes. They are very fun.
