Party Bingo

When my daughter grew up she loved the bingo game we had where the numbers were on balls in a cage you turned. That one was long given away. when my grandchildren were old enough to play a regular bingo gam. The only one I found around me was a wooden one at Toys R Us. The balls were brown and the white numbers a little hard to read for my five year old. I had previously played it with another grandchild while I had him for a while. The balls were also somewhat small. Unless you completely took the cage and stand apart you had to put the balls back in one by one while pushing in the release lever.Needless to say after playing with it once again a few days ago, I decided to check out the games on the internet even if I had to pay postage. I wasn' sure what to get. I finally picked the Bingo game by Hunter. It seems to be well made. One of the best parts is there is a latch to open to put the balls in a few at a time! You do not hold it open to do this. It comes with a tray with deep enough impressions that the balls stay in place when they are put there. The old game just had a card with a hole in it for the marbles which constantly fell off onto the floor when he added other ones. The marbles are larger than the old game as also are the numbers. It is so much easier to read the numbers now. The cage is plastic coated with a wooden handle. My grandson loves the colorful marbles, and playing pieces! I also noticed that the numbers on the card were large and distint. Sure beats the old card with smaller, somewhat fadded red numbers. Everything seemed to work well when I tried it out. I bought it from Ouray Toys,Inc. It arrived about 6 days later and in good condition.

This is a very sturdy game with a large cage. The balls are all colored and easy for kids to use. The description shows you get a second set of balls but you don't. One set of balls is all you get. There are only 18 Bingo cards. It should come with at least 25. The calling board that you put the balls on after you call them is very cheesy. It's plastic and doesn't snap together well. I would recommend it. It's very nice overall.

I purchased this bingo game based on other recommendations. It will be used primarily at senior citizen game nights, and needed to be sturdy enough to withstand some rough handling. The game was delivered today. It seems well designed and sturdy. The cage is a nice size and well designed. It has a slot in the top for adding the balls that is large enough to add the balls easily, but shuts tightly after the balls are in the cage. The cup which catches the balls rotates smoothly as it spins. The cage fits snugly on a sturdy stand, and turns smoothly with the handle. The ball falls accurately into the shoot. The balls are about 1 inch round, with numbers that are easily read. The holder is plastic, but not flimsy. THe balls fit in the pockets in the holder and stay there even if the holder is bumped. Overall, I am very satisfied with this game, and think it will serve my purpose well. It comes with 18 cardboard bingo cards, and 300 plastic markers.

I am very impressed with this game. I searched for a good bingo game for a while before finding this one. The really affordable games you find at stores are so cheap and feel like they will break if someone looks at them funny. This one was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I decided to try it. We love it! It has a LARGE basket that is easy to turn and feels very sturdy. The balls are large and easy to read, they are slightly weighted, plus color coded, which is really helpful for the kids. Overall, a great family game that I think will last a long, long time.

I play this with my grandchildren whose ages range from 3 to 9. They really enjoy it. Once you figure the proper way the cylinder is turned the balls roll right down the ramp. The handle should be on the right side of the game and the cylinder should be turned away from you. Of course, when the 3 years olds, being more rambunctious, turn the cylinder it tends to jump out of the hinge and has to be repositioned. Overall, the quality is good as it is a pretty sturdy game. I think it is worth the money and will probably last quite awhile.

Highly recommend!! Excellent quality! The cage is very sturdy and BIG! The balls are super colorful, big, and the writing seems to be burned into them so it shouldn't wear off. Tons of chips and bingo cards! My family loves this, especially my almost 7 year old son!

We love this set. The cage is very sturdy and the ball makes it on the track every time. We tried two other sets and sent them back. I'm so glad we gave this one a try. My 4 and 5 year olds can't wait to play. Because the cage is so sturdy they can do it and it really adds to the fun. My four year old is also getting a better grip on her numbers while having a good time.

This bingo set might be okay for little kids but if you are having a group, the cage is flimsy at best and the balls do not come out as you would expect. I purchase this for a benefit that we were doing at our church and after about 3 hours, the back of my hand was rubbed really good from having to reach in a get the balls. I finally recruited some small children and had them reaching in to get the balls since the flap that was suppose to let the balls out did not work.
