This gig bag is heavy enough to protect my guitars from minor knock. I'm not sure that a more heavily padded gig bag would do any better with a major knock. It is a perfect fit not only for my Ibanez AEG10, but, surprisingly, for my Kamen (Ovation's predecessor) Applause as well. The outside pocket is large enough to fit a 10" tablet and a folding guitar stand such as the Terra-Teknica. This is a great bag for the price, especially when compared to what is available for the same price in the big guitar stores; one would have to pay much more for a similar quality bag.

Convenient. Fits my 41inch guitar. Its snug. Has a pocket for my guitar lessons book, one for my guitar tuner small things, and has 2 zippers for convenience opening it however you'd like, up or down or midway

Not impressed with product - no padding - little bit more than a trash bag/tarp over your instrument
